Abstract

La présente invention concerne un dispositif d'affichage à cristaux liquides multidomaine. Ce dispositif d'affichage à cristaux liquides multidomaine comprend : un substrat supérieur qui comporte une électrode commune ; un substrat inférieur qui comporte une électrode de pixel, le substrat inférieur se trouvant en regard du substrat supérieur ; une saillie qui forme un champ oblique lorsqu'une tension supérieure à une tension de seuil est appliquée sur l'électrode commune et sur l'électrode de pixel, cette saillie étant située entre le substrat supérieur et le substrat inférieur ; des cristaux liquides qui se trouvent entre le substrat supérieur et le substrat inférieur, les cristaux liquides étant disposés à proximité de la saillie et présentant un angle préincliné ; et une couche d'alignement vertical qui sert à recouvrir la saillie de manière à aligner les cristaux liquides entre le substrat supérieur et le substrat inférieur.
