Abstract
L'invention porte sur un appareil et un procédé de vérification de thérapie par hadrons chargés par détection et/ou quantification de gammas instantanés produits lors de l'irradiation d'une cible (6) par un faisceau de hadrons chargés. L'appareil comprend un collimateur (1) comportant une partie en forme de fente (2) configurée pour être agencée perpendiculairement à la ligne de faisceau et tournée vers la cible, un moyen de détection (3, 4) approprié pour détecter lesdits gammas instantanés et un moyen de calcul et de représentation. Dans l'appareil et le procédé de l'invention, la fente est configurée pour permettre le passage de gammas instantanés émis à partir d'une plage de profondeurs dans ladite cible (6), lesdites profondeurs étant mesurées dans la direction du faisceau de hadrons chargés. En outre, ledit moyen de détection est configuré pour détecter des gammas instantanés émis à partir de chaque emplacement à l'intérieur de ladite plage, et ledit moyen de calcul et de représentation est configuré pour déduire, à partir d'un gamma instantané détecté, une valeur représentative de la dose à l'emplacement à partir duquel ledit gamma instantané est émis, et représenter une distribution corrélée à la dose pour une pluralité d'emplacements à l'intérieur de ladite plage.
