Abstract

La présente invention a pour objet un dispositif destiné à être utilisé avec un lit ayant un châssis et une surface de support comportant une feuille flexible ayant une courroie d'attache reliée à la feuille et s'étendant en dehors de la feuille. La feuille flexible a des surfaces supérieure et inférieure opposées, et possède avec la surface supérieure un matériau à friction élevée, avec un coefficient de friction plus élevé que celui de la surface inférieure, laquelle comporte un matériau à faible friction. La courroie d'attache est conçue de sorte à être reliée au châssis du lit pour maintenir la feuille en place. Un système incorporant la feuille flexible peut aussi comporter un coussin absorbant conçu pour être placé sur la surface supérieure de la feuille, où la surface supérieure à friction élevée empêche le glissement du coussin absorbant, ainsi qu'une ou plusieurs cales ayant une paroi de base sur laquelle repose la cale et une surface de rampe conçue pour faire face à la feuille quand la cale est placée sous la feuille. La paroi de base et la surface de rampe peuvent aussi contenir des matériaux à friction élevée et à faible friction, respectivement.
