Abstract
The present invention relates to an environment-friendly waterwheel type water power generation apparatus and an environment-friendly waterwheel type tidal power generation apparatus which is disposed in a bank installed by blocking the sea and having a tidal range and which realizes bidirectional power generation. The environment-friendly waterwheel type water power generation apparatus includes: a waterway including a middle part having a narrow width and front and rear ends that each have a wide width, the waterway having a large sectionally circular shape; a waterwheel disposed between the rear end and the middle portion of the waterway and including a plurality of water receiving parts for receiving water, the waterwheel being repeatedly rotated about a central shaft coupled by both bearings by water passing through the waterway; a generator connected to the central shaft of the waterwheel to generate electricity; and an accelerating gear connected to the central shaft of the waterwheel to increase the rotation rate of the generator.
