Abstract

An improved self actuating Archimedes Screw to raise seawater above mean sea level by harnessing wave energy comprising: - a hollow duct/tube of predetermined length and diameter; - said hollow duct/tube having spiral fins of predetermined shape and size, fixed on the outer side of said hollow duct; - said hollow duct / tube having a tube of predetermined diameter coiled, wound and fixed on the inside of the said hollow duct/tube. wherein the design, size of the complete modified Archimedes Screw including the hollow duct/pipe; spiral fins; coiled tube will depend upon the height of the sea wave/tidal wave, frequency of the sea wave/tidal wave; distance from the land; other ocean current etc.
