Abstract
In a shaft for a tidal current generator, a tidal current generator comprising the shaft for the tidal current generator, and a tidal current generation system, the shaft for the tidal current generator comprises a main shaft portion, a lower portion shaft portion, and a floating member. The main shaft portion is provided with a coupling portion at the lower end thereof, and the lower portion shaft portion is coupled to the main shaft portion by means of the coupling portion and supports the main shaft portion so as to be rotatable. The floating member is arranged in the space between the main shaft portion and the lower portion shaft portion, inside the coupling portion, so as to prevent the inflow of sea water into the coupling portion. As a result, by preventing the inflow of sea water into the lower area of the main shaft portion, corrosion or abrasion due to sea water can be prevented.
