Le terminal de vérification comprend : un module de génération de commande, qui est utilisé pour générer la commande correspondante selon les informations des biens ou du service sélectionnés par un utilisateur; un premier module de conversion en code à barres, qui est utilisé pour convertir les informations de commande en une image de codes à barres comprenant le code à barres ou identifier les informations de commande à partir d'une image de codes à barres; un premier module d'affichage, qui est utilisé pour afficher l'image de code à barres générée par le module de conversion en code à barres; un premier appareil de caméra, qui est utilisé pour capturer l'image de code à barres affichée par un second module d'affichage; et un module de communication, qui est utilisé pour communiquer avec un système de paiement et de règlement. Le terminal de paiement comprend un second appareil de caméra, un second module de conversion en code à barres et le second module d'affichage. La présente invention porte également sur un procédé de paiement à courte distance basé sur une image.
