Abstract

Disclosed are a method for preparing wax using unreacted materials in polymerization and a method for preparing a plastic rubber material using the wax. According to the present invention, the method for preparing wax using unreacted materials in polymerization comprises the following steps of: (a) putting unreacted materials in a reactor to heat and stir the same during polymerization and evaporating contained water to stir the same to a solid content of 80% or higher when unreacted materials are collected after polymerization; (b) injecting stearic acid to the intermediate having a solid content of 80% obtained at step (a) and stirring the same with a lower speed than that of step (a) while maintaining the temperature at 100-150 ℃; (c) injecting a paraffin wax and stirring the same with a lower speed than that of step (a) while maintaining the temperature of the reactor at 100-150 ℃; (d) injecting any one selected from zinc oxide (ZnO), magnesium oxide (MgO), lead oxide (PbO), and cadmium oxide (CdO) and stirring the same while maintaining the temperature of the reactor at 100-150 ℃ to obtain a liquid wax; and (e) rapidly cooling the wax obtained at step (d) to obtain a powdered wax. According to the present invention, discarded industrial waste can be recycled to be reused by extracting a polymer wax from unreacted materials in polymerization which are being discarded as waste. In addition, the polymer wax prepared by the preparation method of the present invention is used as a wax for various composite resins, provides lubrication and releasing properties, and improves the surface gloss of a product and the function of a resin.
