Abstract

마찰부재와 가압장치로 구성된 마찰력을 이용하는 운동체의 제동장치에 있어서, 제동작용에 의해 운동체가 정지될 때, 상기 마찰부재에서 발생되는 마찰력이 운동 마찰력에서 최대 정지 마찰력으로 전환되고 이 순간 마찰력의 급격한 변화로 인한 속도의 급감 또는 충격이 발생된다. 이 때, 마찰력이 변하는 이유는 정지하는 순간 상기 마찰부재의 마찰계수가 운동마찰계수에서 정지마찰계수로 급격히 변화되기 때문이다. 이러한 현상은 고체 간에 마찰에 있어서 불가피하게 수반되는 현상이다. 본 발명은 이와 같이 차량이 정지하는 순간 마찰력이 급격히 변화되는 것을 막는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위한 고안으로서, 상기 제동장치에 있어서, 상기 마찰부재가 마찰력의 방향으로 자유롭게 이동될 수 있도록 구성되고, 상기 마찰부재가 이동됨에 따라 탄성변형이 발생되는 탄성체가 설치되고, 상기 마찰부재의 가압면과 상기 가압장치의 가압면에 경사면, 곡면, 또는 구름장치를 설치된다. 차량이 정지하는 순간에, 상기 경사면과 상기 탄성체의 기계적 연동에 의하여 상기 마찰부재에 작용되는 압력이 감소되고 이에 따라 마찰면의 수직 항력이 줄어들어 결국 마찰계수의 증가가 마찰력에 미치는 영향을 상쇄하는 효과를 갖도록 구성된다.
