Abstract

 表示装置とシャッター眼鏡間で間欠的に通信してシャッター・レンズの開閉タイミングを制御して、観察者に立体画像を好適に提示する。 表示モードが切り替わるタイミングを表示装置11が事前に知ると、定期的に送信する同期パケットで連続受信を指示する。シャッター眼鏡13は、事前に連続受信を開始しているので、表示装置11が表示パネル210における表示が3Dから2Dに切り換わる任意のタイミングで表示モードの切り替えを指示するパケットを送信しても、シャッター眼鏡13はこれを受信することができ、適切なシャッター開閉制御に切り替えることができる。
