Abstract
La présente invention concerne un dispositif d'expansion orthodontique pour expansion maxillaire chirurgicale rapide, ledit dispositif comprenant un élément central et deux éléments latéraux. L'élément central comporte deux orifices verticaux permettant de fixer le dispositif dans la zone du centre du palais et trois orifices horizontaux. Les éléments latéraux comprennent trois orifices verticaux permettant d'insérer une vis d'expansion dans l'orifice central. Les éléments latéraux comprennent des fils qui soutiennent et guident le mouvement d'expansion. Chaque fil se déplace indépendamment vers la droite ou vers la gauche lorsqu'une vis d'expansion est activée de l'un des côtés.
