Abstract

A device (101, 201) comprises a first provider (111, 211) for providing first information (1-5) within an area (21-23) and a second provider (112, 212) for providing second information (11-15) within a sub-area (31-38) of the area (21-23) and a controller (113, 213) for, in response to a value of the first information (1-5), controlling a location of the sub-area (31-38). Preferably, the first provider (111, 211) comprises a pointer (51-56) for, in a pointer-position, pointing to the value of the first information (1-5) and the second provider (1 12, 212) comprises a display circuit (61-69) for displaying the second information (11-15). Preferably, the pointer-position corresponds with a further sub-area (41-45) of the area (21-23) and the controller (113, 213) reduces and/or minimizes a time- interval during which the further sub-area (41-45) and the sub-area (31-38) overlap. Preferably, different locations of the sub-area (31-38) correspond with different parts of one display or with different displays of the display circuit (61-69).
