Abstract

L'invention porte sur un dispositif électronique ayant un dispositif d'affichage et une surface tactile, lequel dispositif électronique affiche une première interface d'authentification d'utilisateur sur le dispositif d'affichage, la première interface d'authentification d'utilisateur comprenant un champ d'entrée de texte pour entrer un code d'authentification en texte ; détecte une première entrée par un utilisateur sur la surface tactile, tout en affichant la première interface d'authentification d'utilisateur ; en réponse à la détection de la première entrée, affiche une seconde interface d'authentification d'utilisateur sur le dispositif d'affichage, distincte de la première interface d'authentification d'utilisateur, la seconde interface d'authentification d'utilisateur étant configurée pour entrer un code d'authentification basé sur un geste ; tout en affichant la seconde interface d'authentification d'utilisateur, détecte un ou plusieurs gestes par l'utilisateur à des emplacements sur la surface tactile qui correspondent aux emplacements sur la seconde interface d'authentification d'utilisateur ; et authentifie l'utilisateur conformément à une détermination selon laquelle le ou les gestes détectés correspondent à un code d'authentification basé sur un geste pour l'utilisateur.
