Abstract

The present invention relates to an advertising device for a wheel cap of a vehicle, which is easily attached and detached to a wheel of the vehicle and supplies self-generated power to a specific advertising expression, such as characters or symbols, so that the advertising expression is illuminated. The advertising device for a wheel cap includes: a wheel cap part detachably disposed on a wheel of a vehicle, wherein the wheel cap part has a hollow portion in the center thereof; a rotating part which includes a first rotating plate coupled to the inner surface of the wheel cap part and including a plurality of spaced members along the circumference thereof, and a second rotation plate in which a fixed shaft is vertically mounted through a bearing at the central portion thereof, and which is coupled to the spaced members and spaced from the first rotation plate; a stationary part in which the fixed shaft is connected to the central portion thereof and a weight is provided to maintain a stationary state, wherein the stationary part is disposed between the first rotation plate and the second rotation plate; a power generating unit which generates power by interacting between the rotation part and the stationary part; and a control part which is built in the stationary part and stores and controls the power outputted from the power generating part, wherein the control part includes at least one connector for supplying the stored power; and an advertising part mounted on the stationary part through the hollow portion and including an attachment/detachment unit so that the advertising part is attached and detached from the stationary part, wherein the advertising part has an outer surface through which the advertising expression is displayed and in which a light source is built to reveal the advertising expression, and a back surface in which at least one connection pin connected to the connector is provided to receive the power from the control part.
