Abstract
Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Kühlvorrichtung für ein Strahltriebwerk mit einem Axialkompressor mit mehreren Verdichterstufen, umfassend einen Rotor mit Rotor-schaufeln, einen Stator mit Statorschaufeln und einen Ringraum. Um die Temperatur der Komponenten am Auslass des Hochdruckkompressors durch einfache Maßnahmen zu reduzieren und damit die Effizienz eines Strahltriebwerks zu steigern, ist vor der letzten Verdichterstufe (9) des Axialkompressors eine den Rotor (5) umgebende schlitzartige Abzweigöffnung (1) für einen vom Hauptluftstrom (11) abgezweigten Kühlluftstrom (12) in einen ersten Hohlraum (3) vor dem Rotor (5) vorgesehen ist, wobei im Rotor (5) Durchlassöffnungen (2, 2') zur Weiterleitung des abgezweigten Kühlluftstroms (12) aus dem ersten Hohlraum (3) in einen zweiten Hohlraum (4) hinter dem Rotor (5) angeordnet sind.
Description
Kühlvorrichtung für ein Strahltriebwerk Beschreibung
Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Kühlvorrichtung für ein Strahltriebwerk mit einem Axialkompressor mit mehreren Verdichterstufen, umfassend einen Rotor mit Rotorschaufeln, einen Stator mit Statorschaufeln und einen Ringraum.
Bei Strahltriebwerken wird der Luftmassenstrom vor dem Eintritt in die Brennkammer verdichtet. Moderne Strahl¬ triebwerke mit Axialverdichter besitzen mehrere Verdichterstufen. Eine Verdichterstufe eines Axialverdichters besteht aus einer Rotorstufe, in der sowohl Druck und Temperatur als auch die Geschwindigkeit steigen, und ei¬ ner Statorstufe, in der der Druck zu Ungunsten der Geschwindigkeit steigt. Die Statorstufen sind fest mit der Innenseite des Verdichtergehäuses verbunden.
Die hohe Kompression der Luft in den aufeinanderfolgenden Verdichterstufen verursacht einen starken Temperaturanstieg. Erfahrungsgemäß liegt bei einem Strahltriebwerk mit Hochdruckkompressor (High Pressure Compressor = HPC) die Temperaturdifferenz zwischen den einzelnen Stufen bei etwa 50 °C, wodurch die komprimierte Luft die letzte Ver¬ dichterstufe mit Temperaturen von bis zu 600 °C verlässt. Die so verdichtete und erhitzte Luft strömt anschließend in die Brennkammer, in der Brennstoff zugeführt wird.
Die Temperaturen von bis zu 600 °C nach der letzten Verdichterstufe sind der Festigkeit der Materialien abträg¬ lich. Der Rotor erfährt, im Besonderen durch Wärmeleitung von den Rotorschaufeln, eine höhere Relativtemperatur als der Stator und die weiteren statischen Komponenten. Darüber hinaus erfährt der Rotor, neben den höheren Relativtemperaturen, rotationsbedingt eine hohe mechanische Be¬ anspruchung .
Aus der DE 103 31 834 AI ist vorbekannt, dass der Wärme¬ gehalt der hochkomprimierten Verbrennungsluft eines Mo¬ tors oder eines Triebwerks durch den Einsatz von Kühlern vermindert und somit die Effizienz gesteigert werden kann .
Die DE 602 21 558 T2 beschreibt ein Triebwerk mit Turbi nenschaufel, bei dem Luft aus einem Mitteldruckteil des Axialkompressors abgezweigt und zur Turbinenschaufel ge führt wird, um diese zu kühlen.
Mit diesen Lösungen ist eine Steigerung des thermodynami sehen Wirkungsgrads möglich. Die bekannten Lösungen zur Kühlung der Kompressorluft und der Triebwerkskomponenten haben allerdings den Nachteil, dass die Komplexität und das Gewicht der Turbine zunehmen.
Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, die Temperatur der Komponenten am Auslass des Hochdruckkompressors eines Strahltriebwerks durch einfache Maßnahmen zu reduzieren und damit die Effizienz, d.h. die Wirtschaftlichkeit und die Leistungsfähigkeit, eines Strahltriebwerks zu stei¬ gern .
Diese Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß dadurch gelöst, dass vor der letzten Verdichterstufe des Axialkompressors eine den Rotor umgebende schlitzartige Abzweigöffnung für ei¬ nen vom Hauptluftstrom abgezweigten Kühlluftstrom in ei- nen ersten Hohlraum vor dem Rotor der letzten Verdichterstufe vorgesehen ist, wobei der Hohlraum auch Bestandteil des Rotors sein kann, und dass im Rotor Durchlassöffnungen zur Weiterleitung des abgezweigten Kühlluftstroms aus dem ersten Hohlraum in einen zweiten Hohlraum hinter dem Rotor angeordnet sind. Somit wird der Auslassbereich des Axialkompressors mit kühlerer Luft einer vorhergehenden Stufe versorgt.
Aufgrund der Differenz der Rotordurchmesser der letzten Verdichterstufe und der davor angeordneten Verdichterstu¬ fe wird die Abzweigöffnung als Stufe ausgebildet. Diese Stufe ragt in den Ringraum hinein und leitet einen Teil des Hauptluftstroms als Kühlluftstrom aus dem Ringraum hinaus .
Die Durchlassöffnungen sind konzentrisch zur Rotorachse angeordnet und können schräg-axial durch den Rotor ver¬ laufen. Die Ringraumbegrenzung zwischen Rotor und Stator ist zur Vermeidung von Rückströmungen als Spaltdichtung ausgebildet . In einer Aus führungs form der Kühlvorrichtung ist im ersten Hohlraum zwischen dem Rotor und dem Stator ein Hitzeschild mit Dichtlippen und Hitzeschildöffnungen ausgebildet. Der Kühlluftstrom wird durch die Hitzeschildöffnungen und durch Durchlassöffnungen an den axialen Schaufel- befestigungen der Rotorschaufeln in den zweiten Hohlraum geleitet .
Die Vorteile der erfindungsgemäßen Lösung bestehen darin, dass durch einfache konstruktive Maßnahmen die Werkstoff- temperaturen der Komponenten am Ende des Hochdruckverdichters reduziert werden können und somit der Einsatz von kostengünstigeren Materialien gegeben ist. Bei Beibehaltung der bisherigen Materialien ist eine Steigerung der Temperaturen am Kompressorauslass und damit des Wir- kungsgrades möglich. Ein weiterer Vorteil besteht darin, dass im Vergleich zu vorbekannten Lösungen zur Luftkühlung ein geringerer Druckverlust verzeichnet wird. Zudem ist im Vergleich zu vorbekannten Lösungen ein Gewichtsvorteil gegeben.
Die erfindungsgemäße Vorrichtung zur Kühlung eines
Strahltriebwerks im Bereich der letzten Verdichterstufe wird anhand der beigefügten Figuren näher erläutert. Es zeigt
Fig. 1 einen Ausschnitt aus einem Triebwerk im Bereich der letzten Verdichterstufe im Teilschnitt, Fig. 2 einen vergrößerten Ausschnitt des in Fig. 1 gezeigten Triebwerks im Bereich der letzten Verdichterstufe im Teilschnitt,
Fig. 3 eine Prinzipskizze einer Aus führungs form der ring- förmig angeordneten Durchlassöffnungen und
Fig. 4 einen Ausschnitt einer weiteren Aus führungs form eines Triebwerks im Bereich der letzten Verdichterstufe im Teilschnitt.
Die Fig. 1 zeigt einen Ausschnitt aus einem Axialkompres¬ sors eines Strahltriebwerks als Teilschnitt, umfassend einen Rotor 5 mit Rotorschaufeln 7, einen Stator 6 mit Statorschaufeln 8 und einen Ringraum 10. Die Rotations- achse des Strahltriebwerks befindet sich unterhalb des
Ausschnitts und ist nicht gezeigt. Durch die vorhergehen¬ den Verdichterstufen wird der Druck des Hauptluftstroms 11 im Ringraum 10 erhöht. Vor der letzten Verdichterstufe 9 des Axialkompressors ist am Ringraum 10 eine den Rotor 5 umgebende, schlitzartige Abzweigöffnung 1 ausgebildet, die stufenförmig in den Ringraum 10 hineinragt und einen Teil des Hauptluftstroms 11 als Kühlluftstrom 12 in einen ersten Hohlraum 3 vor dem Rotor 5 der letzten Verdichterstufe 9 leitet. Der Hohlraum 3 kann auch Bestandteil des Rotors 5 sein. Der abgezweigte Luftmassenstrom der Kühlluft 12 sorgt aufgrund der kinetischen Energie der Luft für die Ausbildung eines Staudrucks im unter der Stufe 16
befindlichen ersten Hohlraum 3. Die komprimierte Kühlluft 12 wird durch konzentrisch zur Rotorachse angeordnete Durchlassöffnungen 2 im Rotor 5 in den zweiten Hohlraum 4 hinter der letzten Verdichterstufe 9 geführt und kühlt dort den Rotor 5 und den Stator 6. Gleichzeitig werden die radialen Schaufelbefestigungen 14 gekühlt, die im Rotor 5 ausgebildet ist. Eine Spaltdichtung 13 verhindert, dass die etwa 50 °C heißere Luft des Hauptluftstroms 11 nach der letzten Verdichterstufe 9 in den zweiten Hohl- räum 4 gelangt.
Die Fig. 2 zeigt einen vergrößerten Ausschnitt der
Fig. 1. Aufgrund der Differenz der Rotordurchmesser der letzten Verdichterstufe 9 und der davor angeordneten Ver- dichterstufe wird die Abzweigöffnung 1 im Ringraum 10 als Stufe 16 ausgebildet. Die in den ersten Hohlraum 3 einströmende Kühlluft 12 gelangt durch die axial, d.h. in Achsrichtung, angeordneten Durchlassöffnungen 2 im Rotor 5 in den zweiten Hohlraum 4. Am Rotor 5 sind mittels der radialen Schaufelbefestigungen 14 die Rotorschaufeln 7 fixiert. Die Statorschaufeln 8 sind mit dem Stator 6 fest verbunden. Zwischen Rotor 5 und Stator 6 ist die Spaltdichtung 13 ausgebildet, die ein Einströmen von heißer Luft aus dem Hauptluftstrom 11 nach der letzten Verdich- terstufe 9 in den zweiten Hohlraum 4 verhindert. Durch das dezentrale Einströmen der Kühlluft 12 in den zweiten Hohlraum 4 kann die Luft im zweiten Hohlraum 4 zirkulieren . Die Fig. 3 zeigt schematisch in axialer Ansicht eine Ausführungsform der ringförmig im Rotor 5 angeordneten
Durchlassöffnungen 2. Diese sind konzentrisch zur Rotorachse angeordnet und verlaufen schräg-axial durch den Ro¬ tor 5, wodurch die Luft gerichtet in den zweiten Hohlraum 4 einströmt und somit einen Vordrall erhält, wodurch die Zirkulation des Kühlluftstroms 12 weiter verbessert wird.
Zudem kühlt die Luft die durchströmten Komponenten und den durchströmten Rotor 5.
Die Fig. 4 zeigt eine alternative Aus führungs form der er- findungsgemäßen Vorrichtung zur Kühlung eines Strahltriebwerks im Bereich der letzten Verdichterstufe 9. Die schlitzartige Abzweigöffnung 1 im Ringraum 10 kann hierbei auch als Stufe 16 ausgebildet sein. Im ersten Hohlraum 3 ist ein Hitzeschild 17 mit Dichtlippen 18 und Hit- zeschildöffnungen 19 angeordnet. Durch die Hitzeschild¬ öffnungen 19 im Hitzeschild 17 strömt Kühlluft 12 aus dem ersten Hohlraum 3 zum Fuß der Rotorschaufeln 7 mit axialen Schaufelbefestigungen 15 und durch die Durchlassöffnungen 2' in den zweiten Hohlraum 4. Die Durchlassöffnun- gen 2' werden bei dieser Aus führungs form durch Spaltöffnungen im Bereich der axialen Schaufelbefestigungen 15 gebildet .
Durch das dezentrale Einströmen der Kühlluft 12 in den zweiten Hohlraum 4 kann die Luft im zweiten Hohlraum 4 zirkulieren. Die Spaltdichtung 13 ist so ausgebildet, dass ein Einströmen von heißer, komprimierter Luft aus dem Hauptluftstrom 11 vom Ringraum 10 in den Hohlraum 4 verhindert wird. Zudem wird mit der Spaltdichtung 13 das Rückströmen der Kühlluft 12 in den Ringraum 10 unterbunden .
Die in Fig. 4 dargestellte Aus führungs form besitzt den Vorteil, dass die Erfindung mit konventionellen axialen Schaufelfußbefestigungen 15 verwendet werden kann.
Vorteilhafter ist weiterhin, dass die an den zweiten Hohlraum 4 angrenzenden Komponenten, beispielsweise der Rotor 5 und der Stator 6, von Kühlluft 12 umspült werden. Der Kühlluftstrom 12 kann darüber hinaus zum Kühlen von weiteren Triebwerkskomponenten genutzt werden.

Claims
Patentansprüche
Kühlvorrichtung für ein Strahltriebwerk mit einem Axialkompressor mit mehreren Verdichterstufen, umfassend einen Rotor (5) mit Rotorschaufeln (7), einen Stator (6) mit Statorschaufeln (8) und einen Ringraum (10) , dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass vor der letzten Verdichterstufe (9) des Axialkompressors ei¬ ne den Rotor (5) umgebende schlitzartige Abzweigöff¬ nung (1) für einen vom Hauptluftstrom (11) abgezweigten Kühlluftstrom (12) in einen ersten Hohlraum (3) vor dem Rotor (5) vorgesehen ist und dass im Rotor (5) Durchlassöffnungen (2,2') zur Weiterleitung des abgezweigten Kühlluftstroms (12) aus dem ersten Hohlraum (3) in einen zweiten Hohlraum (4) hinter dem Rotor (5) angeordnet sind.
Kühlvorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Durchlassöffnungen (2) schräg-axial durch den Rotor (5) verlaufen und konzentrisch zur Rotorachse angeordnet sind.
Kühlvorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass im ersten Hohlraum (3) zwischen dem Rotor (5) und dem Stator (6) ein Hitzeschild (17) mit Dichtlippen (18) und Hitzeschildöff¬ nungen (19) ausgebildet ist und dass der Kühlluft¬ strom (12) durch die Hitzeschildöffnungen (19) und durch Durchlassöffnungen (2') an den axialen Schaufelbefestigungen (15) der Rotorschaufeln (7) in den zweiten Hohlraum (4) geleitet wird.
Kühlvorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die schlitzartige Ab¬ zweigöffnung (1) als Stufe (16) ausgebildet ist, die in den Ringraum (10) hineinragt.
Kühlvorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass eine Ringraumbegrenzung zwischen Rotor (5) und Stator (6) als Spaltdichtung (13) ausgebildet ist.
