Abstract

[Problem] To provide a novel stable gel-like hair cosmetic composition which can be stably sprayed in the form of mist and has smooth and good texture for serving as a hair cosmetic composition, excellent hair-straightening effect and transparent appearance without making the hair greasy or causing creaming. [Solution] A gel-like hair cosmetic composition which contains, in an aqueous solvent, (a) a specific cationic polymer (such as vinylpyrrolidone/N,N-dimethylaminoethylmethacrylic acid copolymer diethyl sulfate), (b) a non-stringy anionic polymer (such as a carboxyvinyl polymer) that has a thickening effect, (c) an oil content (such as silicone oil), and (d) a cationic surfactant. The gel-like hair cosmetic composition has a viscosity of 500-3,000 mPa∙s (measured with a B-type viscometer at 30°C), and is sprayed in the form of mist when in use.
