Abstract

La présente invention concerne un appareil et un procédé pour la polymérisation en phase gazeuse d'oléfines, l'appareil comprenant : a) une zone de réaction comprenant une grille à sa base, b) une entrée située dans la moitié inférieure de la zone de réaction pour l'introduction d'un gaz de réaction dans la zone de réaction, c) une sortie située dans la moitié supérieure de la zone de réaction pour le retrait du gaz de réaction de la zone de réaction, et d) une unité de séparation des solides comportant une entrée connectée en relation fluidique à la sortie pour l'évacuation du gaz de réaction de la zone de réaction, caractérisé en ce que l'entrée de l'unité de séparation des solides est située à une hauteur verticale plus basse que la sortie pour l'évacuation du gaz de réaction de la zone de réaction, et tel que l'angle avec l'horizontal d'une ligne droite tracée entre l'entrée de l'unité de séparation des solides et la sortie pour le retrait du gaz de réaction de la zone de réaction est supérieur à 20°.
