Abstract

The present invention relates to a solar cell advertising device comprising: a solar cell module plate which is made of a transparent material, and which has a solar energy absorbing layer formed therein to absorb solar energy to generate electrical energy, and which has a front surface on which an advertising copy print layer with an advertising copy printed thereon is formed; an LED arranged at a portion of a rear surface of the solar cell module plate to receive electrical energy generated by the solar energy absorbing layer to emit illuminating light; a light guide plate arranged to contact the rear surface of the solar cell module plate to guide the light emitted from the LED to the front surface of the solar cell module plate; a reflection sheet coupled to a rear surface of the light guide plate to diffuse the light emitted from the LED to the front surface of the solar cell module plate; a support frame which accommodates the LED therein, and which covers the outer peripheries of the solar cell module plate, the light guide plate and the reflection sheet; a storage battery in which the electrical energy generated by the solar energy absorbing layer is stored; a light quantity sensor arranged at one side of the solar cell module plate to sense a light quantity; and a control unit which supplies the electrical energy generated in the solar cell modulate plate to the LED or to the storage battery in accordance with the light quantity sensed by the light quantity sensor.
