Bastidor de un carro de compra plegable comprende dos tubos laterales (1), un estribo de soporte (5) plegable, con ramas laterales (5a, 5b) articuladas en los tubos laterales (1) siendo el estribo de soporte (5) abatible; un soporte porta ruedas (7) trasero abatible, cuyos extremos delanteros (7a, 7b) están articulados en los tubos laterales (1), y en cuyos extremos traseros (7c, 7d) están acopladas sendas ruedas traseras (8); una barra delantera (9) con brazos laterales (9a, 9b) cuyos extremos libres están articulados en las ramas laterales (5a, 5b); un cuerpo transversal (10) dispuesto entre los tubos laterales (1), las ramas laterales (5a, 5b) y los brazos laterales (9a, 9b), estando articulado el cuerpo transversal (10) por su parte trasera a los tubos laterales (1) y por su parte delantera en los brazos laterales (9a, 9b) de la barra delantera (9), y ruedas delanteras giratorias (12) en un plano horizontal, acopladas inferiormente en la parte delantera del cuerpo transversal (10).
