Description

Notruf -Schuh  Emergency call shoe
The present invention relates to an emergency call shoe for locating the location with a GSM transmitter and a GSM receiver.
Nowadays a variety of emergency situations can occur, such as accidents (road traffic, airplanes, trains), fires, crimes (kidnapping, robbery, theft, burglary, coercion, extortion), injuries (falls, fractures), natural disasters (storms, floods, Avalanches, earthquakes), disorientation (in the mountains or in forests). Especially old people and children are exposed to many dangers. In such emergency situations, many people die each year, because often too late help can be provided because the accidents are detected too late and thus can only be delayed response.
The use of garments to trigger the alarm or to locate people has the advantage that they do not have to transport additional device, which can sometimes be forgotten or lost. The fact that a device can be used simultaneously as a garment and also as an alarm trigger, the handling of such a device is considerably simplified.
Japanese Patent Application JP 2006255279 A, for example, describes a shoe which has an alarm button and which can be released by means of the second shoe without using the hands. However, the triggered alarm is only perceived in the immediate vicinity of the person. Thus, this shoe can not be used when a person comes into an emergency situation in a remote area. In addition, this shoe allows no location of a person, which could be necessary for survival in such a situation. For this reason, it was an object of the present invention to provide a device with which people in emergency situations can quickly draw attention to help themselves and these can be located in a timely manner, so that immediate help can be provided. This object is achieved by an emergency call shoe for locating the location with a GSM transmitter and a GSM receiver.
The shoe can thus be equipped with standard GSM cards, which are offered by the various mobile operators. The shoe according to the invention is equipped with a GSM transmitter and a GSM receiver, so that the location of the wearer of the shoe can be reliably located.
The basis for locating the emergency call shoe can be the areas covered by a transmission tower (mobile radio cells). Due to the very well-developed GSM / GPRS network, such an emergency call shoe is almost universally accessible in Europe. However, if the user moves in an area that is not covered by the GSM network, then the last located area is always stored and can be called up at any time.
It is preferred in this case if the four main GSM frequencies are supported in order to be connected to most networks worldwide (quadband). The four preferred frequency ranges are 850 and 1900 MHz used in the Americas, and 900 and 1800 MHz used in most of the rest of the world (Europe, Asia and Australia).
In addition, the shoe according to the invention can be equipped with GSM antennas, so that an improved reception is possible.
Furthermore, in the shoe according to the invention, a charging unit is provided, which allows charging at a 230V socket, a 12V connection such as in the vehicle and a serial bus system, such as a "Universal Serial Bus" (USB) connection. The USB port can also be used for data transfer, such as to a PC, and as the device has a small footprint, more compact USB connectors are currently preferred for digital cameras, mobile phones, MP3 players, and the like other mobile devices are used (Mini-USB or Micro-USB). In standby mode, it is also possible to locate the device.
In order to make an emergency call in an emergency situation, the shoe is equipped in a particularly preferred embodiment with an alarm switch. The user thus has the option of making an emergency call, which is directed to an emergency call center, by triggering the alarm switch (panic switch) manually.
In a further alternative embodiment, the shoe is additionally equipped with a vibration sensor. In the case of a strong shock, such as in a serious crash or accident, an emergency call is automatically issued, so that the emergency call center is informed as soon as possible about such an accident and can respond quickly.
In a preferred embodiment, the shoe according to the invention comprises a microphone.
After a given emergency call, the microphone can be activated automatically in a further advantageous embodiment, so that the emergency call center can listen to the emergency situation. If the user is in an area covered by the GSM network, his position can also be located immediately. If the user is in an area that is not covered by any GSM network, it is possible to evaluate the locations that could be located last. In a further alternative embodiment, when an emergency call is triggered, a message is automatically sent to a previously mentioned recipient. This message is preferably a short message that is transmitted to a mobile number. As a short message service for the transmission of text messages, a "Short Message Service" (SMS), "Enhanced Message Service" (EMS) or "Multimedia Messaging Service" (MMS) is preferably used.
The emergency call center is preferably a paid service provider that can be reached 24 hours a day across Europe. This can be the Receive emergency calls and listen to the dangerous situation using the microphones integrated in the shoe. If necessary, this emergency call center can inform the police, the fire brigade, the ambulance or an ambulance service such as the mountain rescue service or water rescue and tell them the exact location of the person concerned. So that emergency calls can also be received from other European countries, it is preferred if the mobile network subscriber can automatically receive or make calls in a foreign network other than his home network, can send and receive data and have access to other mobile network services (so-called "roaming").
In addition, it may be necessary to legitimize the emergency center or a proxy by a power of attorney of the user for a location of his person. In such a case, the user of the device issues a power of attorney to an agent or the emergency center that they are entitled to locate it at any time or in an emergency.
Alternatively, tracking may only be used on children and adolescents under the age of 18 who are not (fully) capable of doing business. These can then be reliably located by their parents.
In a further preferred embodiment, if an alarm has been triggered by using the alarm switch or due to an activation of the vibration sensor, this must be confirmed again with a button. If a false alarm is triggered, it can be deactivated by means of a specific key combination.
In an alternative embodiment, there is additionally the possibility of a secret emergency call, in which the user can trigger a "silent alarm" with another password, which may be of importance in the case where the user is threatened by a third person during an alarm By means of a special password, which is transmitted through a special key combination, the alarm can then be canceled for the third person, but in reality a silent alarm is triggered. Another component of the invention is a computer program product which allows the location of the shoe. With the aid of this computer program product, the coordinates and, if necessary, a map can be retrieved, from which the location of the person can be read. It is also advantageous if the location is determined by means of a service that makes it possible to search for the person to then display their position on a map or on a picture of the earth's surface (satellite and aerial images). Thus, the target person can be located regardless of location. All you need is Internet access, which allows access to this service. For example, this service may be the Google Maps Internet service.
