This application is a subsequent application to various patents and utility models of the Applicant relating to various emergency backup systems. It also applies to other equipment not covered by the applicant's previous applications in the category of personal mobile emergency devices (mPERS).

Problem Description

Common to all these devices is that the triggering of the alarm sequence is carried out by the mobile terminal / smartphone, even if the user, the victim, does not have access to the smartphone itself, as long as only the Bluetooth connection exists between the external auxiliary device and the mobile terminal. The lack of access may be due to a distance - the terminal is in the car that the user has left - or on the shelf at a place inaccessible to sudden incidents, such as a handbag.

However, this method has a serious disadvantage: in the case of a violent attack, especially against women or children, in one case rape, in the other case abduction attempts, it may be that the offender does not recognize that the alarm sequence was triggered and therefore continue with his endeavor.

Therefore, potential victims are advised to carry a defensive device next to the mPERS, for example pepper spray. This leads to an accumulation of devices; on the other hand, most of the time the victim is only able to operate one device and will no longer be able to locate and trigger the second device.

The present approach takes a psychological, other path.

Summary

Description of the invention

There are different variants:

1st variant:

A physical combination ( 4 ) between the switch ( 1 ) and the speaker ( 2 ) into which the CPU ( 6 ) and the BT module ( 7 ) and antenna ( 8th ) and battery ( 9 ) for the combined unit ( 4 ) is installed; the speaker will sound a beep when the switch ( 1 ) is actuated; at the same time, the alarm signal leaves the switch to trigger a preset alarm sequence in the mobile terminal or external server.

The advantage of this method is that the victim does not need to do any further manipulation to alert the offender that the alarm has been triggered and the sound pressure is so strong that the offender will periodically try to destroy the device to stop the alarm, which gives the victim time to delay the violence, hopefully until the arrival of the first rescue workers.

4th variant:

A physical combination between the switch ( 1 ) and the speaker ( 2 ) with the possibility that, instead of the mobile terminal using the Applicant's patent application of 19 July 2015, the external server sends a response which the control unit of the loudspeaker receives, which then triggers the alarm.

The advantages of the main points 3 and 4 are evident. With regard to point 2, it does not seem sensible at first since the victim still has to trigger the mechanism manually.

This makes sense in the case when the offender tries to rob the victim money, etc. and the victim gets the opportunity to grab the mobile device.
