Abstract

La présente invention concerne un injecteur piézoélectrique (1) comportant un empilement d'éléments piézoélectriques (3) (empilement piézoélectrique) logé dans un carter d'injecteur (2), l'empilement d'éléments piézoélectriques (3) étant relié indirectement à un pointeau de soupape (5) par l'intermédiaire d'un élément d'assemblage (4). Selon l'invention, un ensemble de pistons (6) est agencé entre le pointeau de soupape (5) et l'empilement d'éléments piézoélectriques (3), lequel ensemble de pistons comporte deux pistons (8, 9), à savoir un premier piston (8) et un second piston (9), reliés l'un à l'autre par l'intermédiaire d'un ressort intercalé entre ces derniers. L'élément d'assemblage (4) et l'empilement d'éléments piézoélectriques (3) sont reliés au premier piston (8) de l'ensemble de pistons (6) de telle manière qu'une transmission de forces axiales soit sensiblement possible entre l'empilement d'éléments piézoélectriques (3) et l'ensemble de pistons (6), le second piston (9) étant relié directement au pointeau de soupape (5). Ainsi, l'injecteur piézoélectrique (1) peut être ouvert et fermé de manière rapide et de manière résistante à l'usure.
