Abstract
The invention relates to a method for the surface treatment, particularly for the grinding and/or polishing, of workpieces (2), comprising the method steps: providing and loading surface treatment agents (4) into a treatment container (3); introducing one or more workpieces (2) to be treated into the surface treatment agent (4) present in the treatment container (3), such that the workpiece or workpieces (2) are each completely or partially surrounded by the surface treatment agent (4); displacing, particularly alternatingly displacing, the workpiece or workpieces (2) in the treatment container (3) relative to the same, so that the workpieces (2) reach various locations in the treatment container (3), wherein the workpieces (2) each are completely or partially surrounded by the surface treatment agent (4); exciting the treatment container (3) to vibrate during the displacement of the workpiece or workpieces (2). As an advantageous development, according to the invention the surface treatment agent (4) used comprises powder or a powder mixture or is made of powder or a powder mixture, wherein the powder or powder mixture has the property of tending to reversible cementing under increased pressure. The invention further relates to a treatment device (1) for the surface treatment of workpieces (2).
