基于位置的业务(LBS, Location Based Service ) 又称为移动位置业务 或定位业务, 该业务的主要内容包括: 移动定位中心与移动通信网络中的 部分实体进行交互; 通过无线定位技术或辅助全球定位系统 (AGPS , Assisted Global Positioning System )定位技术获取移动终端的必要测量数据; 通过位置计算实体的地理位置信息, 例如, 经纬度坐标的估算, 基于移动 终端的位置提供相应的呼叫或非呼叫业务和信息服务。
在第三代合作伙伴计划( 3GPP, 3rd Generation Partner Project )网络中, 定位系统网络结构如图 1所示,与 LBS相关的网元主要有 GMLC和移动位 置服务中心( SMLC, Serving Mobile Location Center )或独立 SMLC ( SAS, Stand-Alone SMLC ), 为了描述方便, 将 SMLC和 SAS统称为 SMLC。
在现有的定位技术中,需要 GMLC与 SMLC共同参与实现对终端的定 位。 其中, GMLC主要负责处理对定位客户端(LCS Client )发送的位置请 求, 获得用户的经纬度信息并返回给 LCS Client。 同时, GMLC还是定位 业务系统的运营平台,完成用户数据管理、业务数据管理、业务提供商(SP, Service Provider )管理和计费等功能。 SMLC主要负责收集位置业务相关的 测量数据、 以及进行定位计算并得到定位结果。
实际应用中, SMLC 功能通常集成在无线网络控制器 (RNC , Radio Network Controller )或基站控制器(BSC, Base Station Controller ) 内部,
或者由一个独立设置的 SMLC功能实体实现。 对于集成在 RNC或 BSC内 部的 SMLC, 受 RNC或 BSC硬件和软件资源的限制, 只是将具有特定计 算功能的 SMLC器件集成到 RNC或 BSC中, 只能实现一些特定的定位计 算, 处理性能极其有限, 并且升级和维护时, 需要和其它软件一起升级, 特别是需要中断业务进行操作的时候, RNC和 BSC是轻易不能中断服务的, 因此, 集成在 RNC或者 BSC内部的 SMLC功能的维护和升级是很不方便 的; 独立设置的 SMLC功能实体, 需要 RNC支持 Iupc接口或 BSC支持 Lb 接口, 才能与独立设置的 SMLC功能实体连接, 而这种方式会大大增加硬 件和链路开销。 发明内容
有鉴于此, 本发明的主要目的在于提供一种通过 GMLC实现定位的方 法及装置, 以解决现有定位技术中处理性能有限、 维护和升级困难等问题。
为达到上述目的, 本发明的技术方案是这样实现的:
本发明提供了一种通过网关移动位置中心 (GMLC ) 实现定位的方法, 所述方法包括: GMLC从基站控制器(BSC )或无线网络控制器 (RNC ) 获取被定位终端的位置信息, 并根据所获取到的位置信息, 进行定位计算, 得到被定位终端的定位结果。
在上述方案中, 所述 GMLC从 BSC或 RNC获取被定位终端的位置信 息, 为: 所述 BSC或 RNC收集所述被定位终端的位置信息, 并通过所述 被定位终端所在的移动交换中心 (MSC )发送给所述 GMLC。
在上述方案中, 所述 BSC或 RNC收集所述被定位终端的位置信息, 并通过所述被定位终端所在的 MSC发送给所述 GMLC,包括: BSC或 RNC 收集所述被定位终端的位置信息, 将收集到的位置信息封装到执行位置响 应信令或位置报告信令中, 发送给所述被定位终端的 MSC; 所述被定位终 端所在的 MSC从所述执行位置响应信令或位置报告信令中提取到所述位置

本发明的基本思想是: 将 SMLC功能集成到 GMLC中, 通过 GMLC 便能够实现对被定位终端的定位, 不仅有利于定位系统处理能力的提升, 而且有利于定位系统的维护、 以及资源的共享, 同时还可以节省运营商的 投资。
本发明的一种通过 GMLC实现定位的方法, 参照图 2所示, 所述方法 主要包括:
步骤 201: GMLC从 BSC或 RNC获取被定位终端的位置信息; 步骤 202: 根据所获取到的位置信息, 进行定位计算, 得到被定位终端 的定位结果。
其中, GMLC从 BSC或 RNC获取被定位终端的位置信息, 可以为: 所述 BSC或 RNC收集所述被定位终端的位置信息, 并通过所述被定位终 端所在的移动交换中心 (MSC , Mobile Switching Center ) 发送给所述 GMLC。
具体地, 所述 BSC或 RNC收集所述被定位终端的位置信息, 将收集
到的位置信息封装到执行位置响应 ( Perform Location Response )信令或位 置报告(Location Report )信令中, 发送给所述被定位终端的 MSC; 所述被 定位终端的 MSC接收所述执行位置响应信令或位置报告信令,从所述执行 位置响应信令或位置报告信令中提取所述位置信息, 再将所述位置信息通 过提供用户位置响应 ( PSL, Provide Subscriber Location Response )发送给 所述 GMLC。

在得到被定位终端的定位结果之后,所述方法还可以包括:所述 GMLC 将所得到的定位结果发送给所述 LCS Client。
为了实现上述方法, 本发明还提供了一种设置为实现定位的装置, 参 照图 3所示, 该装置主要包括: 获取单元 31和计算单元 32, 其中, 获取单 元 31设置为从 BSC或 RNC获取被定位终端的位置信息; 计算单元 32, 设 置为根据所述获取单元 31获取到的位置信息, 进行定位计算, 得到被定位 终端的定位结果。
其中, 所述 GMLC还可以包括接收单元 33 , 设置为接收定位客户端发 送的移动定位协议请求; 所述获取单元 31 ,设置为在所述接收单元 33接收 到所述移动定位协议请求后, 从 BSC或 RNC获取被定位终端的位置信息。
其中,所述 GMLC还可以包括发送单元 34,设置为将所述计算单元 32 得到的定位结果发送给定位客户端。
实际应用中, 通过上述的装置实现定位的具体过程, 请参照上文相关 方法的描述、 以及下文实施例的描述, 在此不再赘述。
实际应用中,对于 2G网络,当 BSC接收到 MSC下发的 Perform Location Request时, BSC将收集被定位终端的 TA和 NMR等位置信息, 直接封装 在 Perform Location Response中发送给 MSC, MSC再通过 PSL响应将所述 位置信息返回到 GMLC, 由 GMLC进行定位计算, 并将得到的定位结果直 接返回给 LCS Client。
对于 3G网络, 当 RNC接收到 MSC下发的 Location Report Control信 令时, 将包含 RTT、 邻区的 Pathloss、 RSCP、 Ec/N0、 RNCID、 Cellid以及 相应的经纬度等的位置信息直接封装在 Location Report中, 发送给 MSC; 再通过 PSL响应将所述位置信息返回到 GMLC, 由 GMLC进行定位计算, 并将得到的定位结果直接返回给 LCS Client。
实施例一
在 2G 网络中, 通过 GMLC实现定位的过程, 如图 4所示, 具体包括 以下步骤:
步骤 S401 , LCS Client向 GMLC发送 MLP定位请求( MLP Request )。 步骤 S402, GMLC完成鉴权, 向被定位终端所在的 MSC发送 PSL信 令, 请求被定位终端的位置信息。
具体地, GMLC 从 HLR 获得被定位终端的 MSC/拜访位置寄存器 ( VLR, Visitor Location Register) / GPRS服务支持节点 (SGSN, Servicing GPRS Support Node ) 的标识, 例如 MSC号码( msc-Number )或者 SGSN 号码( sgsn-Number ), 并根据所获得的 MSC/VLR/SGSN的标识, 向被定位 终端所在的 MSC发送 PSL信令。

步骤 S406、 GMLC从 MSC发送的 PSL响应中提取所述被定位终端的 位置信息, 利用位置信息中包含的小区的标识(Cellid )、 时间提前量(TA )、 以及网络测量报告(NMR )等信息, 应用经验电波传播模型, 例如, 奥村- 哈塔( Okumura-Hata )模型, 完成定位计算, 如三角计算、 或最小二乘迭 代计算, 得到定位结果, 实现 SMLC的功能。
具体地,利用位置信息中包含的小区的标识( Cellid )、时间提前量( TA )、 以及网络测量报告 (NMR ) 中的邻区平均接收电平 (RxLev ) 的测量值, 应用经验电波传播模型, 例如, Okumura-Hata模型, 釆用相应的定位计算
方法, 如三角计算或最小二乘迭代计算等计算方法, 完成定位计算, 得到 定位结果。
其中, RxLev是描述收到信号强度( Signal Strengh )的统计参数, RxLev 的高低反映了距离的远近。
这里, 在定位计算中, 位置信息中包含的参数不同, 所釆用的定位计 算方法也不同, 这是本领域技术人员熟知的常用手段, 在此不再赘述。 将计算得到的定位结果直接给 LCS Client。
实施例二
在 3G 网络中, 通过 GMLC实现定位的过程, 如图 4所示, 具体包括 以下步骤:
步骤 S501 , LCS Client向 GMLC发送 MLP定位请求( MLP Request )。 步骤 S502, GMLC完成鉴权, 并向被定位终端的 MSC发送 PSL信令, 请求被定位终端的位置信息。
具体地, GMLC从 HLR获得被定位终端的 MSC/VLR/SGSN的标识, 例如 MSC号码或者 SGSN号码,并根据所获得的 MSC/VLR/SGSN的标识, 向被定位终端的 MSC发送 PSL信令。
步骤 S503 , MSC收到 GMLC发送的 PSL信令后,向 RNC发送 Location Report Control信令, 请求被定位终端的位置信息。
步骤 S504~S507 , RNC分别向 UE和 NodeB发送测量请求( Measurement Request ),获取包含有 RTT、Pathloss、RSCP、Ec/NO等测量结果( Measurement Response ) 的位置信息。
步骤 S508, RNC将获取到的位置信息, 以及通过查询数据库得到的被 定位终端所在小区及其邻接小区的天线的经纬度等位置信息, 打包在 Location Report信令中返回给 MSC;
具体地, 可以借用 Location Report 中的现有字段, 或者在 Location Report中定义专用的扩展字段, 来封装所述位置信息。
步骤 S509、 MSC将 RNC所发送 Location Report中的位置信息转移到 PSL响应 (PSLACK ) 中, 发送给 GMLC。
步骤 S510、 GMLC从 MSC发送的 PSL响应中提取所述位置信息, 完 成定位计算, 得到定位结果, 实现 SMLC的功能。
具体地, 可以利用位置信息中包含的 RTT和测量报告中的激活集和监 测集小区的 RSCP 、 Ec/N0、 Pathloss等参数, 釆用相应的定位计算方法, 如三角计算, 完成定位计算, 得到定位结果。
在 3G网络中, 同理, 位置信息中包含的参数不同, 所釆用的定位计算 方法也不同, 一般釆用三角计算的方法进行定位计算, 也可以釆用最小二 乘迭代计算的方法。
步骤 S511、 GMLC 向 LCS Client发送 MLP定位请求( MLP Request ), 将计算得到的定位结果直接给 LCS Client。
以上所述, 仅为本发明的较佳实施例而已, 并非用于限定本发明的保 护范围, 凡在本发明的精神和原则之内所作的任何修改、 等同替换和改进 等, 均应包含在本发明的保护范围之内。
Claims
1、 一种通过网关移动位置中心 (GMLC ) 实现定位的方法, 其中, 所 述方法包括:
GMLC从基站控制器(BSC )或无线网络控制器(RNC )获取被定位 终端的位置信息, 并根据所获取到的位置信息, 进行定位计算, 得到被定 位终端的定位结果。
2、 根据权利要求 1所述的通过 GMLC实现定位的方法, 其中, 所述 GMLC从 BSC或 RNC获取被定位终端的位置信息, 为:
所述 BSC或 RNC收集所述被定位终端的位置信息, 并通过所述被定 位终端所在的移动交换中心 (MSC )发送给所述 GMLC。
3、 根据权利要求 2所述的通过 GMLC实现定位的方法, 其中, 所述 BSC或 RNC收集所述被定位终端的位置信息,并通过所述被定位终端所在 的 MSC发送给所述 GMLC, 包括:
BSC或 RNC收集所述被定位终端的位置信息,将收集到的位置信息封 装到执行位置响应信令或位置报告信令中,发送给所述被定位终端的 MSC; 所述被定位终端所在的 MSC从所述执行位置响应信令或位置报告信令中提 取到所述位置信息, 并将所述位置信息通过提供用户位置响应携带给所述 GMLC。
4、 根据权利要求 2或 3所述的通过 GMLC实现定位的方法, 其中, 所述 BSC收集到的位置信息, 包括小区标识, 以及以下参数的任意一 个或多个: 时间提前量、 网络测量报告中的各参数、 上下行链路的到达时 间、 到达时间差;
所述 RNC收集到的位置信息, 包括本小区和邻接小区的小区标识以及 以下参数的任意一个或多个: 本小区和邻接小区的往返时延、 路损、 接收 信号码功率、 信噪比、 RNC标识, 经纬度数据、 上下行链路的到达时间、 到达时间差。
5、根据权利要求 2或 3所述的通过 GMLC实现定位的方法, 其中, 在 所述 BSC或 RNC收集所述被定位终端的位置信息之前, 所述方法还包括: 所述 GMLC接收到定位客户端发送的移动定位协议请求后, 发送提供 用户位置信令到所述 MSC, 所述 MSC再向 RNC或 BSC发送执行位置请 求信令或位置报告控制信令, 请求获取被定位终端的位置信息。
6、根据权利要求 1所述的通过 GMLC实现定位的方法, 其中, 在得到 被定位终端的定位结果之后, 所述方法还包括: 所述 GMLC将所得到的定 位结果发送给定位客户端。
7、 一种设置为实现定位的装置, 其中, 所述装置为 GMLC, 该 GMLC 包括: 获取单元和计算单元, 其中,
获取单元, 设置为从 BSC或 RNC获取被定位终端的位置信息; 计算单元, 设置为根据所述获取单元获取到的位置信息, 进行定位计 算, 得到被定位终端的定位结果。
8、 根据权利要求 7所述的设置为实现定位的装置, 其中, 所述 GMLC 还包括接收单元, 设置为接收定位客户端发送的移动定位协议请求;
所述获取单元, 还设置为在所述接收单元接收到所述移动定位协议请 求后, 从 BSC或 RNC获取被定位终端的位置信息。
9、 根据权利要求 7 或 8 所述的设置为实现定位的装置, 其中, 所述 GMLC还包括发送单元, 设置为将所述计算单元得到的定位结果发送给定 位客户端。
