Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de décodage entropique. Le procédé de décodage entropique selon l'invention comprend les étapes suivantes : recueil d'informations de contexte sur un symbole à décoder à l'aide d'au moins soit des informations de contexte sur une couche correspondante, soit des informations de contexte sur d'autres couches ; et réalisation du décodage entropique sur le symbole à l'aide des informations de contexte recueillies. Selon l'invention, l'efficacité de la compression d'images peut être améliorée.
