Abstract

본 발명은 입체 화상용 디스플레이에 관한 것으로서, 보다 상세하게는 적색, 녹색, 및 청색의 유채색 서브 픽셀들과 백색의 서브 픽셀을 포함하여 복수개의 화소를 구현하는 액정셀과 편광자 및 패턴화 리타더를 포함하는 편광판을 구비하고, 상기 패턴화 리타더는 인접한 패턴 사이의 경계면과 백색의 서브 픽셀의 면이 대응되도록 배치되며, 백색의 서브 픽셀에 인가되는 전류량을 블랙 구현이 가능하도록 제어함으로써, 리타더 패턴간의 좁은 간격에 의해 발생되는 크로스 토크가 개선되어 입체 화상 구현이 가능한 시야각의 범위가 넓어짐에 따라 선명한 입체 화상을 관람할 수 있는 입체 화상시스템에 관한 것이다.
