Abstract

L'invention se rapporte aux installations motrices à moteur rotatif. Le moteur comprend des chambres de combustion externes. Un rotor monté dans le corps comporte des pales. À l'extérieur et sur les côtés du rotor sont montés des pistons de type plaque. La chambre de combustion comprend une ouverture d'évacuation et des ouvertures d'admission d'air comprimé et de carburant et d'insertion d'un élément d'inflammation du carburant. La chambre de combustion comprend une soupape capable de fermer hermétiquement son ouverture d'évacuation. Les soupapes de la chambre de combustion, les systèmes d'alimentation en air comprimé et en carburant et l'élément d'inflammation sont connectés à une unité de commande. Le moteur comprend des clapets capables de fermer hermétiquement la chambre de travail, et des tiges de poussée qui sont reliées à l'unité de commande. Les clapets sont montés en aval de fenêtres de sortie et en amont des chambres de combustion dans le sens de rotation du rotor. Le corps est fermé par des couvercles d'extrémité comportant des nervures de rigidité et des fenêtres entre ces dernières. Le système de refroidissement est à air. Les couvercles d'extrémité comportent des joints. Le résultat technique consiste en un indice de performance plus élevé, en une plus grande fiabilité et en plus de ressources, en une simplification de la structure, en une diminution du temps nécessaire à l'entretien, de la masse métallique et de la main d'œuvre nécessaire à la fabrication de l'installation motrice.
