Abstract
본 발명은 무선 통신 시스템에 대한 것으로, 보다 상세하게는 다중 안테나 지원 무선 통신 시스템에서 프리코딩된 신호를 송수신하는 방법 및 장치가 개시된다. 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 송신기에서 N (N≥2) 개의 전송 안테나를 통하여 수신기로 신호를 전송하는 방법은, 제 1 프리코딩행렬지시자(PMI)와 관련된 제 1 코드북으로부터 제 1 행렬을 선택하고, 제 2 PMI와 관련된 제 2 코드북으로부터 상기 제 2 행렬을 선택하고, 상기 제 1 행렬 및 제 2 행렬에 기초하여 프리코딩 행렬을 결정하는 단계; 상기 수신기로 전송될 신호가 매핑되는 L (1≤L≤N) 개의 레이어에 대해서 상기 결정된 프리코딩 행렬을 이용하여 프리코딩을 수행하는 단계; 및 상기 프리코딩된 신호를 상기 N 개의 전송 안테나를 통하여 상기 수신기로 전송하는 단계를 포함할 수 있다. 여기서, 상기 제 1 코드북은 N×N 크기의 대각 행렬(diagonal matrix)을 하나 이상 포함하고, 상기 대각 행렬에서 0 이 아닌 요소(element) 는 소정의 위상 값을 가지며, 상기 제 2 코드북은 N×L 크기의 행렬을 하나 이상 포함할 수 있다.
