Abstract

Die Erfindung beschreibt eine Energiespeichervorrichtung zur Speicherung von überschüssiger kinetischer Energie von einer rotierenden Welle (3). Die kinetische Energie ist partiell durch mindestens eine auf der Welle (3) angeordnete erste elektrische Maschine (1) in eine elektrische Energie wandelbar und partiell durch mindestens eine auf der Welle (3) angeordnete zweite elektrische Maschine (2) in eine weitere kinetische Energie wandelbar. Die mindestens eine zweite elektrische Maschine (2) weist einen zweiten Stator (22) auf, der auf der Welle (3) befestigt ist und mit der gleichen Winkelgeschwindigkeit wie die Welle (3) rotiert, sowie ein außen laufendes Schwungrad (23), das über eine Klemmvorrichtung (24) blockierbar ist, wodurch die mindestens eine zweite Maschine (2) als Motor betreibbar ist.
