L'invention concerne la technologie de flux documentaire automatisé, de classement de documents et de réalisation de commandes documentaires dans des systèmes de gestion automatisée de documents par des centres d'entreposage ou de distribution. L'invention porte sur un document physique / électronique ainsi qu'un système et un procédé de commande et de distribution de marchandises à partir d'un entrepôt distant à l'aide de ce document physique / électronique. Le document physique / électronique comprend un support de données électroniques avec un composant électronique se présentant comme une copie numérique du contenu de la source d'informations primaire portant sur une transaction avec des marchandises, et un support de données physiques avec des informations concernant la transaction avec des marchandises, le support de données physiques du composant électronique étant disposé dans un dispositif de transport de données ayant un numéro interne unique et inaltérable et doté d'une mémoire interne non volatile réinscriptible. Le système et le procédé de commande et de distribution de marchandises à partir d'un entrepôt distant sont basés sur l'utilisation du document physique / électronique.
