Abstract

The invention relates to nozzle body (10) for a fuel injector of an internal combustion engine, having a nozzle needle seat (20) with which a nozzle needle (30) can be brought into contact in a fluid-tight manner with the closing cone (31) thereof, a seat surface (21) of the nozzle needle seat (20) being at least partially curved. The invention further relates to a nozzle assembly (1) for a fuel injector of an internal combustion engine, having a nozzle body (10) and a nozzle needle (30) displaceably guided in the nozzle body (10), the nozzle needle (30) being able to be brought into contact with a nozzle needle seat (20) of the nozzle body (10) in a fluid-tight manner. Said nozzle body is characterized in that a sealing region (40) is formed between the nozzle body (10) and the nozzle needle (30), such that a seating angle difference (γ) increases as the distance between the nozzle needle (30) and the nozzle needle seat (20) increases. The invention further relates to a fuel injector for an internal combustion engine, having a nozzle body (10) according to the invention and/or a nozzle assembly (1) according to the invention.
