  • the thermal stress mentioned above is repeatedly generated with respect to the reactor vessels 10 and 110 by repeatedly starting and stopping during the operation period of the reactor. Therefore, when this thermal stress is large, there is a concern about the deformation (liquid level ratchet) in which the diameters of the reactor vessels 10 and 110 shrink each time the engine is started, and the occurrence of damage due to creep fatigue. Furthermore, in order to ensure the soundness of the reactor vessels 10, 110, it is necessary to start up slowly so that the number of days required for startup is increased and the reactor wall 10 a gradually rises in temperature. However, when the nuclear reactor is used for commercial operation such as power generation, it is desirable to shorten the time required for startup and extend the rated operation time as much as possible. Description
