Abstract

본 발명의 일 실시예는 무선랜 전파 환경 맵을 이용한 ＡＰ 위치 추정 방법 및 장치에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 일 실시예는 수집된 무선랜 전파 환경 맵에서 동일한 맥 어드레스를 갖는 데이터만을 선별한 필터링 전파 맵을 생성하는 필터링부; 상기 필터링 전파 맵을 임의의 격자 셀로 구분한 격자 전파 맵을 생성하는 격자 셀 구분부; 상기 격자 전파 맵을 구성한 각각의 격자 셀에서 센터값을 산출하고, 상기 각각의 격자 셀에 각각의 센터값을 좌표 대표값으로 매핑(Mapping)하는 좌표 대표값 매핑부; 상기 각각의 격자 셀 내에 존재하는 데이터에 근거하여 신호세기 대표값을 산출하고, 상기 각각의 격자 셀에 각각의 신호세기 대표값을 매핑하는 신호세기 대표값 매핑부; 상기 신호세기 대표값의 수신 신호 세기가 해당하는 범위(Range)에 대응되는 가중치 값을 선별하는 가중치 선별부; 및 상기 좌표 대표값, 상기 신호세기 대표값 및 상기 가중치 값 중 적어도 하나 이상의 값에 근거하여 동일한 맥 어드레스를 갖는 AP의 위치 정보를 추정하는 위치 추정부를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 신호세기 가중 평균을 이용한 AP 위치 추정 장치를 제공한다.
