L'invention concerne un dispositif d'affichage portatif sans fil (10) destiné à afficher en temps réel des informations de remplissage de carburant en association avec un contenu publicitaire, le dispositif (10) comprenant : une unité à processeur (10) destinée à commander le fonctionnement général du dispositif (10) ; une unité de stockage (14) destinée à stocker des fichiers de données ; une première unité d'affichage (16) destinée à afficher la sortie de données de fonctionnement d'un distributeur de carburant ; une seconde unité d'affichage (18) destinée à afficher un contenu publicitaire ; un premier module de communication sans fil (20) constituant un moyen permettant de communiquer avec un autre dispositif de communication par l'intermédiaire d'un réseau de communication afin de rechercher des données concernant le carburant distribué pour ladite première unité d'affichage (16) ; un second module de communication sans fil (22) constituant un moyen permettant de communiquer avec un autre dispositif de communication connecté à une station de base (30) par l'intermédiaire d'un réseau de communication afin de rechercher des données pour ladite seconde unité d'affichage (18) affichant un contenu publicitaire ; une unité d'entrée sans fil (24) comprenant au moins une fonctionnalité opérationnelle concernant une unité de distribution de carburant et affichant un contenu publicitaire sur la seconde unité d'affichage (18) ; une unité d'entrée (26) destinée à mettre en communication opérationnelle ledit dispositif d'entrée sans fil (10) et ladite unité à processeur (12) et les autres composants du dispositif (10) ; et une unité d'alimentation électrique (28) comprenant une batterie fournissant de l'électricité au dispositif (10) dans un mode de fonctionnement normal.
