Abstract

The invention relates to a cable seal, for example for injection-molded plugs, where the adhesion and sealing are improved by the fact that a sealing element (4) is pressed by the extrusion-coat mass (3) onto the cable (1). In this way, the contact pressure is increased by the fact that the extrusion-coat mass (3) rotates lever surfaces (5) relative to each other on the sealing element (4) during the injection process, whereby a torque is generated which is used to increase the pressure of the sealing element (4) onto the cable (1).
