Abstract
The invention relates to a stand head (1) for arrangement between, on the one hand, a camera or other optical recording device connected at least indirectly to the stand head (1) and, on the other hand, the end of a supporting device, in particular of a multi-leg stand, facing towards the recording device, wherein the stand head (1) has at least a first adjustment means (3), which is assignable to an adjustment device (2) and by means of which the position of the recording device relative to the supporting device can be changed, wherein the first adjustment means (3) has a housing (4), which is mounted so as to be pivotable with respect to a joint head (5) received in the central inner recess of the housing (4). In order to provide a stand head (1) by means of which it is possible to avoid unwanted deviation from the intended pivot axis during a panning shot, such that the entry pupil of the optical system does not move away from the desired rotation axis and the camera can be rotated in the selected plane through reproducible and in particular uniform angles, the optical recording device can be pivoted, by means of the first adjustment means (3) of the adjustment device (2), simultaneously about a first and a second pivot axis perpendicular in each case to the longitudinal axis of the adjustment device, without a rotation contribution about the longitudinal axis of the adjustment device (2), and, from the joint head (5), an adjustment member (52) engages in a substantially radially protruding manner through an approximately slit-like opening (60) of the housing (4), which opening (60) is arranged approximately parallel to the longitudinal axis of the adjustment device (2) or of the first adjustment means (3).
