Abstract

The invention relates to a cooling cover to be secured externally to the rotating drum of cement mixer trucks, which cools the freshly mixed cement contained therein. The device is formed by a cover which is made to the dimensions of the rotating drums of cement mixers, adapted to the shape of same and fitted using a system of ties. The cover must be absorbent in order to allow a large quantity of water to accumulate, which, owing to the wind, evaporates as the truck moves and the drum rotates. The water may be distributed directly onto the cover.
