Abstract

무선랜 시스템에서 파워 세이브 모드 운영 방법이 제공된다. 상기 방법은 비 액세스포인트 스테이션(non AP(Access Point) station; STA)의 파워 세이브 모드(Power Save Mode; PSM) 를 포함하는 파워 세이브 멀티 폴(power save multi poll; PSMP) 프레임을 AP와 MIMO(Multiple Input Multiple Output) 페어링된 제1 STA 및 제2 STA에게 전송하되, 상기 PSM 정보는 하향 링크 전송 구간이 시작되는 시점을 지시하는 하향 링크 전송 시작 오프셋(start offset), 상기 하향 링크 전송 구간의 지속 시간을 지시하는 하향 링크 전송 지속 시간(duration) 및 전송 대상 STA 식별 정보를 포함하고, 상기 하향 링크 전송 구간 동안 데이터 프레임을 상기 제1 STA 및 상기 제2 STA에게 MIMO 전송 하는 것을 포함하되, 상기 전송 대상 STA 식별 정보는 상기 AP가 MIMO 전송하는 대상 STA인 제1 STA 및 제2 STA을 포함하는 대상 STA 그룹을 지시하는 그룹 식별자(Group Identifier; Group ID)를 지시한다.
