Abstract
The present invention relates to a design of a composite type sensor with a PET layer and a tempered glass layer for manufacturing a touch screen sensor, and more particularly to a structure and design in which: when designing a touch screen sensor, the upper surface of a PET layer is configured with an y-coordinate pattern and an y-coordinate junction pad; and the upper surface of a tempered glass layer is configured with an x-coordinate pattern, an x-coordinate junction pad, an x-coordinate trace, and an FPC junction pad. The present invention is designed such that: the y-coordinate pattern on the upper surface of the PET layer and the x-coordinate junction pad on the tempered glass layer are attached and connected to each other by the y-coordinate junction pad; on the upper surface of the tempered glass layer, the x-coordinate pattern and the x-coordinate trace are connected to form a pad; and the PET layer is provided on the upper surface thereof with the x-coordinate junction pad which is attached and connected to the y-coordinate junction pad. According to the present invention, there is no FPC junction pad, which is connected to the FPC, on the upper surface of the PET layer, and ACF bonding is performed only one time to connect the FPC to the FPC junction pad provided only on the upper surface of the tempered glass layer. Therefore, according to the present invention, the simplification of process makes it possible to achieve efficient manufacturing speed and to reduce the defective rate, thereby improving the productivity of touch screens.
