Abstract

The invention relates to a spacer (1) and spacer arrangement (10) comprising at least one tensile-force-transmission element (30) which is subjected to tensile loading and by means of which first and second walls (106, 107), pressure-distributing panels (103/51) and/or surfaces of articles, which act on each other with a force (Fm, FAΔp) and distribute the active force (FΔp), are spaced apart so that heat transmission is isolated, having a multiplicity of pressure transducers which act against each wall, project beyond the spacing centre, with rear-engaging action, and are connected to at least one tensioned tensile-force-transmission element, wherein a gap (121/2) with a predetermined spacing (Δh, Δd) is provided between the pressure transducers on various sides. It is provided that a multilayer arrangement (203/1p), having at least one layer designed to reflect heat radiation, is arranged in the spaced gap (121/2), without being subjected to loading by the spacing forces, in order to suppress the exchange of heat radiation between spaced-apart walls (106, 107, 103/51) and/or surfaces of the pressure transducers (200/i, 201/i).
