Description

SUITCASE WITH INTEGRATED SEAT
PREAMBLE OF THE DESCRIPTION:
THE FOLLOWING SPECIFICATION PARTICULARLY DESCRIBES THE INVENTION AND THE MANNER IN WHICH IT IS TO BE PERFORMED BACKGROUND
Technical field
[0001] The embodiments herein generally relates to a travel baggage and particularly to travel suitcase. The embodiments herein more particularly relates to a travel suitcase with an integrated seat.
Description of the Related Art
[0002] With the development of public transport facilities, many people have started travelling more frequently to the desired destination. This travelling is achieved by any mode of transport such as bus, train or airplanes. Such travelling has developed a waiting period for the travelers before boarding the vehicles or wait to pass through the security check points especially on airports. As a result, many travelers stand around for a long period of time with no place to rest their legs as they often move slowly through a line. The same can happen when there is delay in an arrival of a train or a flight. In such situations of unprecedented delay, there is a need for a utility to enable the travelers to relax. Normally, the travelers either relax in the lounge provided in the airport or railway station. However, the travelers, who neither enjoy the facilities of the lounge nor utilize the resting chair, resort to converting their own luggage as a means for relaxation. Suitcases which are normally designed for travelling are uncomfortable means for use as a relaxation mechanism.
[0003] One such suitcase with an attachable seat is provided wherein such a suitcase includes a main body having a front surface, rear surface, first and second side surfaces, a top surface and a bottom surface, a bottom rear edge at the meeting point of the bottom surface and the rear surface as well as a top rear edge adjacent to the meeting point of the top surface and the rear surface. The suitcase also includes a seat pivotally secured to rotate about the top rear edge of the main body for pivotal motion from a storage position along the rear surface to a use position along the top surface.
[0004] There is also a backpack with an attachable seat wherein, the combination backpack and chair assembly including a seat portion comprised of a frame. The frame includes a plurality of seat straps extending there over. The seat portion is contained within a bag portion. The bag portion includes a forward edge and a rearward edge. The forward edge has a zipped opening. A seat back portion is foldably coupled with respect to the seat portion.
[0005] However, the suitcases and the backpacks that are available today have an additional attachment for converting them into a seating mechanism. This result in an addition of weight to the suitcases in addition to the load existing already thereby generating an undesirable condition.
[0006] Hence, there is need for a suitcase which can be converted into a seating mechanism without requiring any external attachment. Also there is a need to provide a suitcase with a seating arrangement without any significant additional weight.
[0007] The above mentioned shortcomings, disadvantages and problems are addressed herein and which will be understood by reading and studying the following specification.
