Abstract
Hintergrund der Erfindung ist die Ausgestaltung von Reaktorkernen für flüssigmetallgekühlte schnelle Reaktoren, besonders für natriumgekühlte schnelle Reaktoren, wobei an verschiedenen Stellen im Reaktorkern feste Metall-Wasserstoff-Verbindungen eingefügt werden. Dadurch reduziert sich der Effekt der Verdampfung des Flüssigmetalls deutlich und die Sicherheitskoeffizienten verbessern sich signifikant.
