  • the door lock prevents accidental opening of the door 3 during at least some steps of cooking of dishes (preventing the user from being struck by steam or hot gases exiting the cooking compartment 2) and/or during high temperature operating cycles, such as an oven self- cleaning pyrolytic cycle.
  • the first part 39 of the door lock (see for example Figures 3 and 12) comprises a threaded blind hole 390 and is connected to the frame 33 by at least one connecting screw 391 which engages in the threaded blind hole 390.
  • the frame 33 comprises at least one flap 339 interposed between the first plate 31 and the first part 39 of the door lock, the flap 339 comprising at least one through hole 392 having a first end 393 abutting the blind hole 390 and a second end 394 blocked by the first plate 31 (in this way the through hole 392 is not immediately visible from the outside; if necessary, the first plate 31 at that zone could comprise silk-screen printing or other coverings which make the through hole 392 invisible from the outside).
  • Inserted in said at least one through hole 392 is the connecting screw 391 which engages in the corresponding threaded blind hole 390 of the door lock 39, the connecting screw 391 comprising a threaded shank 395 and a head 396.
  • the head 396 is larger in size than the shank 395, part of the frame 33 flap 339 remaining interposed between the first part 39 of the door lock and the head 396.
  • the head 396 remains positioned inside the through hole 293.
  • there are two connecting screws 391 which engage in corresponding blind holes 390 in the first part 39 of the door lock, passing through two through holes 392 in the frame 33 flap 339.
  • first part 39 of the door lock could advantageously be made as a single part with the frame 33.
  • the door 3 also comprises a handle 4.
  • the handle 4 is gripped by the user for moving the door 3 between the first and second positions.
  • the handle 4 comprises means 40 for connecting with at least one hole 41 made in the frame 33 (see for example Figure 2).
  • the connecting means 40 comprise at least one insert 42 which passes through a suitable through opening 310 made in the first plate 31 (see Figure 3).
  • the handle 4 has a main longitudinal extension and is connected to the frame 33 at two opposite ends 43, 44.

  • the step of applying the first plate 31 to the frame 33 comprises gluing the first plate 31 to the frame 33.

  • the method also comprises the step of inserting in two cavities in the frame 33 corresponding supporting brackets 53, 54 for a hinge for connecting the door 3 to the remaining parts of the oven 1.
  • the method also comprises connecting to the frame 33 a handle 4 for opening and closing the door 3.
  • the step of connecting the handle 4 comprises inserting connecting means 40 which are integral with the handle in at least one suitable hole 41 made in the frame 33 through a through opening 310 in the first plate 31 , said first plate 31 remaining interposed between the frame 33 and the handle 4.

Abstract

L'invention porte sur un four pour cuire des aliments, lequel four comprend un compartiment de cuisson (2) et une porte (3) fournissant un accès au compartiment de cuisson (2), la porte (3) étant apte à se déplacer entre une première position dans laquelle elle permet l'accès au compartiment de cuisson (2) et une seconde position dans laquelle elle empêche l'accès au compartiment de cuisson (2), la porte (3) comprenant : - une première plaque (31) ; - une seconde plaque (32) qui est sensiblement parallèle à la première plaque (31) ; - un cadre (33) relié à la première plaque (31), au moins partiellement interposé entre les première et seconde plaques (31, 32), et comprenant des moyens de maintien (330) pour la seconde plaque (32) ; - un profil de verrouillage (34) pour la seconde plaque (32), qui est en contact avec la seconde plaque (32), et qui, fonctionnant en association avec les moyens de maintien (330), permet le positionnement de la seconde plaque (32) ; - des moyens (35) pour relier le profil (34) au cadre (33). Le profil (34) comporte une direction d'extension principale, et, suivant ladite direction d'extension principale, il s'étend le long d'une étendue d'un bord périphérique (36) de la porte (3).
