Abstract

A mechanism for automatic opening by this invention includes cylinder containing the spring, piston and grease which makes the deceleration, on the other side of the lid part is fitted along which the piston slides and with its piston geometry provides that the piston suppressed by spring transfers its work to lid and thus performs automatic lid opening.

Description

MECHANISM FOR DECELERATED AUTOMATIC LID OPENING OF BOXES
1 ) AREA OF TECHNIQUE INVENTION REFERS TO
This invention refers to a mechanism for automatic rising of the lids for different purposes boxes, such as jewelry boxes, wine boxes, clocks boxes, cosmetics boxes, and according to international classification it (IPC) was classified as:
2) TECHNICAL PROBLEM
Technical problem is to solve automatic opening of the boxes in a simple, approachable, and understandable way to all box manufacturers, while the total price of all works and everything necessary for the automatic opening is very low.
The next problem is to avoid the complicated assemblies, complicated assembly and to use as few parts as possible that will not change characteristics during use and thus provide long-lasting and safe operation of the final product.
3) STATE OF TECHNIQUE
The inventor has no knowledge of any mechanisms that operate without electricity, and that have a speed control and require no winding. Mechanisms with circular springs and gears are too big and expensive for mass production of boxes, and therefore they are not in production.
4) PRESENTATION OF THE INVENTION ESSENCE
Primary objective of the patent is finding a way to solve the automatic opening of boxes' lids, and thereby retain control of the speed of opening without the use of electronic circuits. A secondary objective of the invention is to allow boxes manufacturers, from different areas, to be able to easily install a system that would enable automatic opening boxes' lids. A mechanism for automatic opening in line with this patent includes cylinder containing the spring, piston and grease which makes the deceleration, and on the other side of the lid, part is embedded along which the piston slides and with its geometry ensures that the piston pushed by spring transfer its work on the lid and by doing this automatic opening of the lid is performed. On the other side it is necessary to make a sliding surface in such a way that when closing the box, with its circular motion acting on a piston compresses the spring and thus provides an automatic re-opening after opening lock is removed. 5) BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWING

Figure 3 - Shows the version in which the cylinder with its piston and the sliding surface are components of the hinge.
6) DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The essence of this invention is to provide a reliable way of opening the lid of the box, applicable to many types of boxes and in several areas. We will describe one of the box's versions with our mechanism. It anticipates that in the box (2) hole is drilled (3) under predetermined angle (a) at the distance (D) from the center of the rotation (c) and at depth (A). On the lid side (1) the mounting of working sliding surface at predetermined distance (d) is provided. According to the already familiar technique of deceleration of the piston, already assembled and slow down piston (6) with the corresponding cylinder (5) and spring (8) is pushed in the hole (3) on the box (2); and on the side lid (1) a fixed working sliding surface (7) is attached. This would make the assembling of the mechanism complete.
What remains to be determined by the manufacturer are types of the hinges, delimiter and part for lid (1) closing.
When you close the lid (1), working sliding surface (7) pushes the piston (6) to the end of the cylinder (5) and compresses the spring (8) until lid (1) is closed and by this it is blocked in that position.
By removing lid (1) blocking part expansion of the spring (8) is possible, which pushes the piston (6) and it pushes the working surface (7) outside of the center of rotation (c) and this leads to a circular movement of the lid (1), and since the spring (8), angle (a) form of the sliding surface (7) is selected by the physical characteristics of the box (2) and lid (1) this means that the lid (1) rises up to predetermined delimiter. It will remain there until we close the lid (1) of the box (2).

Claims

C L AI MS
1. The mechanism for automatic slow lid opening of the box, which comprises a box (2) in which under certain angle at a certain distance, is a cylinder (5) mounted, which with its closed end is in contact with the box (2), with a slowed piston (6), which is constantly pushed by spring (8) and the lid (1) in which a working sliding surface (7) is mounted, at which the piston (6) operates, noted by that, that the piston (6), which is pushed by a spring (8) and slowed in the cylinder (5) acts on the working surface (7) outside the center of the rotation (c) and by this causes a circular movement of the lid (1), while at every lid position (1) the relation between point on a sliding surface (7) which is in that position of the lid (1) in contact with the piston and piston (6) such that the vector of force has such direction of action that the piston (6) compresses the spring (8) when closing the lid (1), and when opening of the lid (1) spring (8) over the piston (6) with its every change of the length forces the piston (6) to move on the sliding surface (7) until that movement of the piston (6) is stopped by the opening delimiter of the lid (1), while the lid (1) opening is automatic, and closing of the lid (1) is manual and when closing, the spring (8) is compressed which is necessary for the automatic re-opening of the lid (1).
2. A mechanism for automatic decelerated opening of the box noted by that, in the case of heavy lids or by designer choice may optionally have two mechanisms for the opening with its cylinders.
3. A mechanism for automatic deceleratated opening of the box, noted by that, can be assembled directly into hinge thus avoiding the possibility of errors in drilling holes (3) and milled slots for sliding surface (4), while it brings savings in installation.
4. A mechanism for automatic deceleratated opening of the box, noted by that, depending on the (2) box and lid (1) material and the desired design can be mounted on the side wall of the box (2) and lid (1), and also position of the lid (1) and box (2) can be switched.
