Abstract

The invention relates to an electrical power supply device in the form of a cell or a battery that comprises a plurality of individual cells that are inserted into a battery housing and electrically connected to each other, a temperature-control medium flowing around said cell or individual cells in order to control the temperature thereof, each cell being separately inserted into a cooler housing, the housing jacket of which lies at a distance from the outer jacket of the cell in order to form an annular gap surrounding a cell, and air inlet and air outlet channels opening into the annular gap, wherein said device is characterized in that the air inlet channels are arranged at the one cooler housing end and the air outlet channels are arranged at the opposite cooler housing end and a plurality of air inlet channels and air outlet channels distributed over the circumference open into each annular gap.
