Abstract
The present invention relates to a deceleration gear and a digital door lock using the same. The deceleration gear according to the present invention comprises: a drive gear which is rotated about a rotational axis by a motor, and engages a driven gear such that the torque of the motor rotates the driven gear; and a power transmission means which is arranged between the rotational axis and the drive gear for power transmission between the rotational axis and the drive gear, such that the motor and the drive gear can rotate together and a reverse rotating force is transferred to the driven gear while the rotational axis and the drive gear rotate together in one direction in response to an electric signal from the motor, with the reverse rotating force rotating the drive gear in the opposite direction, whereby the rotational axis may keep rotating in one direction without being forced to rotate in the opposite direction in case the drive gear rotates in the opposite direction.
