Abstract

L'invention porte sur un matériau biodégradable et compostable qui a une utilisation particulière, mais pas exclusive, comme matériau d'emballage avec une application particulière, mais pas exclusive, à l'emballage de produits alimentaires. Des modes de réalisation de l'invention peuvent être biodégradables et fabriqués à partir de matériaux renouvelables, ce qui réduit au minimum de cette manière l'utilisation de produits pétrochimiques. Pour l'essentiel, l'invention porte sur un matériau qui est une association d'un polymère biodégradable et d'une nanoargile. Le polymère biodégradable comprend un ou plusieurs polymères parmi le poly(acide lactique) (PLA) et un polyhydroxyalcanoate (PHA) ou polyhydroxybutyrate (PHB) thermoplastique. Des modes de réalisation peuvent de plus comprendre un agent donnant du volume, tel que la sciure, et un colorant, tel que la chlorophylle ou le noir de carbone.
