Abstract

The present invention relates to the development of equipment for simultaneously injecting reproductive cells and specific materials for promoting fertilization and reproduction ability into a genital organ of a cow. More particularly, the present invention relates to an artificial insemination apparatus and to a technique utilizing the apparatus, wherein the artificial insemination apparatus is equipped with both a straw encapsulated with sperm or embryo and another straw encapsulated with fertilization promoting materials for promoting fertilization or inducing implantation into the uterus of the cow during artificial insemination or embryo transfer, and thus the artificial insemination apparatus can perform sperm injection or embryo transfer simultaneously through a single procedure. The apparatus of the present invention can inject reproductive cells and fertilization promoting materials simultaneously into the uterus of a cow through a single procedure, thereby significantly improving convenience of use and pregnancy rate.
