Abstract
A method for increasing fertility of mares by carrying out remediation of internal genital organs thereof include sanitation of mares external genitalia prior to the artificial insemination. Before copulation or artificial insemination with chilled or thawed sperm, the sanitation of mares’ uterus and vagina is carried out 1 to 4 times every 12 hours using 6-12 ml gentamicin sulphate, 5-8 ml decasan, 5-10 ml miramistin, 5-10 ml of 0.25-1.0% novocaine solution, the final sanitation should be carried out not less than 6 hours before insemination or copulation, 12-24 hours after the insemination or copulation, the sanitation of mares’ uterus and vagina is repeated 1-2 times every 12 hours.
