Abstract

본 발명은 인터넷 접속이 가능한 단말기에서 내장된 랜모듈 또는 랜카드의 고유번호인 맥주소를 이용하여 단말기의 소유자 확인 및 등록을 할 수 있는 방법에 관한 것으로, 단말기의 분실 또는 매매로 인한 소유권 이전 등에서 현재 소유자를 확인할 수 있는 방법에 대한 것이다. 또한, 소유자 확인 및 등록을 간단히 할 수 있는 방법을 제공하게 된다.

Description

맥주소를 이용한 소유자확인 장치 및 방법
본 발명은 인터넷 접속이 가능한 단말기에서 단말기에 내장된 랜모듈 또는 랜카드의 고유번호인 맥주소(MAC:Media Access Control)를 이용하여 단말기의 소유자확인 및 등록을 할 수 있는 방법에 관한 것으로, 단말기의 분실 또는 매매로 인한 소유권 이전 등에서 현재 소유자를 알고자 할 때, 인터넷의 URL(유알엘) 또는 HTTP 메시지에 맥주소를 포함하여 전송함으로서 간단히 소유자 정보를 확인할 수 있는 방법에 관한 것이다.
상기 맥주소는 하드웨어인 네트워크인터페이스카드의 고유 식별 주소인데, 맥주소는 노트북/PC 등에 있는 랜모듈 또는 랜카드에 새겨진 고유번호로서 제조업체에서 만들 때 영구적으로 기록한 것으로서, 노트북/PC가 자신이 속한 LAN 내에서 목적지 PC를 찾아 통신할 때 사용되는 주소이다.
노트북/PC 에서 사용자가 랜모듈의 맥주소를 파악하는 방법은 아래와 같다.
윈도우 시작키를 누르고 "실행"을 클릭하여 창이 뜨면 cmd 를 입력하고 확인을 클릭한다. 그러면 도스창이 보이는데 ipconfig -all 을 입력하고 엔터를 치면 내장된 모든 랜모듈의 상태를 보여준다.
도스창에 보이는 것 중에 Physical Address 가 맥주소를 가리키는 것으로 00-11-22-33-44-55 처럼 보여준다.
본 발명은 맥주소를 이용한 제품/물품의 소유자확인 장치 및 방법에 관한 것이다.
최근, 인터넷이 가능한 단말기들이 다양하게 출시되고 있는데, 노트북뿐만 아니라 넷북,스마트폰, e북, 태블릿PC 등이 있다. 이들 기기에는 유/무선랜을 내장하고 있어서 간단히 인터넷에 접속할 수 있는 기능을 제공한다.
그런데 상기 유/무선랜용의 모듈 또는 카드는 규격상 맥주소라는 고유번호가 있는데, 이것은 제품/물품의 종류를 구분하지 않는 유일한 번호로서 제조업체에서 생산 및 관리되고 있다.
현재 제품/물품의 소유자를 확인하기 위한 사이트는 없는 것으로 파악되며, 단지 제조회사에서 제품 소유자의 A/S 관리를 위해서만 구매자로부터 입력받고 있는 상황이다. 또한, 서비스를 제공하는 사이트에 접속하고 로그인하여야 정보를 확인할 수 있지만, 타인의 소유 여부는 제공하지 않는다. 그리고 등록을 하기 위해서는 제품의 시리얼번호와 제품명, 제조회사 등을 입력하여야 한다.
종래 관련된 기술로 특허 등록번호 제10-0892882호 "물품관리방법"은, 물품 고유의 물품코드와 물품소유자의 단말 고유의 단말코드를 같이 사용하는 방법에 대한 것으로서, 상기 물품코드는 분실시 회수하기 위한 물품의 시리얼번호를 나타내며, 상기 단말코드는 휴대폰/노트북 같이 통신할 수 있는 단말기를 지칭하는 것으로 상기 물품의 관리방법에 대한 것이다.
특허공개 제10-2001-0083647호 "고유번호를 통한 물품확인 및 관리시스템"은, 물품 고유번호와 구입자 개인정보를 연관시킨 고유번호 데이터베이스를 개시하고 있다. 특히 공급자가 물품 고유번호를 명기하여 판매하고, 구매자가 구입시 공급자에게 개인정보를 제공해 둔 경우, 습득자가 습득물의 고유번호를 공급자에게 제공하면, 공급자가 물품 고유번호로 구입자 개인정보를 조회하여 연락할 수 있다는 것이다.

그러나 시리얼번호는 제품/물품의 뒷면에 부착되어 있어서 훼손할 수도 있는 것이고 제품의 종류에 따라서는 같은 번호가 존재할 수도 있어서 제품명과 제조업체명까지 잘 관리하여야 하는 불편이 있다. 또한, 확인을 위해서는 홈페이지 접속과 시리얼번호, 제품명 및 제조업체명을 일일이 정확히 입력/선택하는 수고를 해야 하여 사용자는 많은 불편함을 감수하여야 한다. 때로는 같은 뜻이지만 약식으로 입력하거나 한글/영어로 변경/혼용하여 사용하는 경우가 있어서 검색이 어려운 경우가 발생할 수 있다.
본 발명은 상기와 같은 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 창안된 것으로서, 인터넷이 가능한 단말기에서 내장된 유무선의 랜모듈 또는 랜카드의 맥주소를 이용하여 URL를 생성하고 웹에 접속하거나 또는 HTTP 메시지에 맥주소를 포함하여 전송하는 것만으로 소유자를 확인할 수 있도록 한다.
본 발명은 인터넷 접속이 가능한 단말기에서 단말기에 내장된 랜모듈 또는 랜카드의 고유번호인 맥주소를 이용하여 단말기의 소유자확인 및 등록을 할 수 있는 방법에 관한 것으로, 단말기의 분실 또는 매매로 인한 소유권 이전 등에서 현재 소유자를 확인할 수 있는 방법에 대한 것이다.
또한, 소유자확인을 간편하게 할 수 있는 방법을 제공하게 된다.
사용자는 소정의 프로그램을 실행하는 것으로 상기 프로그램이 단말기에 내장된 유무선의 랜모듈 또는 랜카드의 맥주소를 읽으면, 기 지정된 도메인과 결합하여 URL를 생성하여 브라우저를 실행하거나 또는 HTTP 메시지에 맥주소를 포함하여 전송하는 것으로 웹에서 바로 소유자를 확인할 수 있다. 그리고 개인정보보호를 위해 최소한의 정보인 맥주소, 제품/물품명, 상태 정도를 보여줄 수 있다.

또한, 상기 맥주소는 사용자가 소유자확인 정보를 제공하는 사이트에 접속한 후, 별도의 입력창을 통해 입력력하거나 브라우저의 툴바 등의 기능에 의해 읽어진 후, 서버로 전달할 수도 있다. 이런 변경은 누구나 용이하게 실시할 수 있는 것이다.
이로써, 본 발명에 따른 맥주소를 이용한 소유자확인 장치 및 방법은 사용자가 간단하게 프로그램을 실행하는 것만으로 사용 중인 단말기의 소유자를 확인할 수 있을 정도로 편리한 특징이 있다.
상기 프로그램은 사용자가 다운로드 받아 단말기에서 실행할 수 있는 응용프로그램일 수도 있고, 단말기의 펌웨어/바이오스에서 지원하는 일부 기능으로 작동하는 것으로 제조업체에서 지원할 수도 있다.
이하, 첨부된 도면을 참조하여 본 발명에 따른 맥주소를 이용한 소유자확인 장치 및 방법을 상세하게 설명한다.
도 1a 와 도 1b는 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 맥주소를 이용한 소유자확인 장치를 도시한 구성도이다. 도면을 참조하면, 본 발명에 따른 맥주소를 이용한 소유자확인 장치는, 제2단말기(10), 단말기(20), 관리서버(30), DB(데이터베이스)(40)로 구성되거나, 또는 단말기(20), 관리서버(30), DB(데이터베이스)(40) 만으로 구성될 수 있다.
상기 제2단말기(10)는 인터넷 통신이 가능한 랜모듈을 내장한 기기로서 디스플레이 기능이 빠진 단순한 기기이고, 상기 단말기(20)는 사용자가 여러 가지 용도로 사용할 수 있는 모바일기기 등으로서 디스플레이가 있어 인터넷이 가능한 노트북뿐만 아니라 넷북, 스마트폰, e북, 태블릿PC 등을 지칭한다.
상기 단말기(20)는 네트워크를 연결하고 소유자확인 프로그램을 실행하여 내장된 랜모듈의 맥주소를 포함하는 URL 또는 HTTP 메시지를 관리서버(40)에 보내면 해당 제품/물품의 소유자 정보를 회신한다.
상기 프로그램에서 URL 또는 HTTP 메시지에 맥주소를 포함하는 방법은 사용자가 소유자확인 정보를 제공하는 도메인을 미리 입력해 놓거나 전용의 확인프로그램일 경우 프로그램 내에 지정되어 있을 수 있다.
따라서, 맥주소를 URL에 결합하는 경우에 확인프로그램은
http://www.abcd.co.kr/check.jsp?mac="001122334455"
또는 http://www.abcd.co.kr/001122334455.html
처럼 URL를 만들수 있는데 "001122334455" 는 맥주소를 가리킨다.
또한, 맥주소가 URL에 직접 노출되는 것을 피하기 위해 HTTP 메시지 내에 맥주소를 포함하여 처리할 수 있다.
상기 관리서버(30)는 상기 단말기(20)로 부터 정보를 요청받는 경우에, 수신한 URL 또는 HTTP 메시지에서 맥주소를 추출하여 DB(40)에서 읽고 그 정보를 단말기(20)에 회신한다. 그리고 단말기(20)는 브라우저를 실행하여 수신한 정보를 볼 수가 있게 된다.
이때 상기 브라우저는 인터넷 사용이 가능한 IE 또는 CORME, FireFox, 사파리 등을 말한다.
따라서 단말기(20)의 사용자는 간단하게 확인프로그램을 실행하는 것만으로 단말기(20)의 소유자를 확인할 수 있는 것이다.
상기 제2단말기(10)는 디스플레이가 없는 형태로 고정되어 사용하거나 단순기능의 기기로서 외부에 디스플레이를 연결할 수 있는 포트가 제공될 수도 있어서, 외부 디스플레이를 연결하는 경우 제2단말기(10)가 직접 관리서버(30)와 통신을 수행하여 소유자 확인을 할 수도 있다.
또한, 도 1b와 같이 제2단말기(10)에 단말기(20)를 연결하여 제2단말기(10)의 소유자확인을 단말기(20)에서 할 수도 있다.
도 2는 본 발명의 실시 예에 따른 단말기에서의 맥주소를 이용한 소유자확인 방법의 실시 예를 나타낸 흐름도이다. 도면을 참조하여 본 발명에 따른 단말기에서의 맥주소를 이용한 소유자확인 방법의 기능 및 동작을 도 5와 같이 상세하게 설명한다.
단말기(20)는 인터넷이 가능하도록 랜을 연결하고 확인프로그램을 실행하는 경우,
내장된 랜모듈의 맥주소를 읽는 단계;
상기 맥주소를 포함하는 URL 또는 HTTP 메시지를 생성하는 단계;
상기 URL를 주소로 하는 또는 HTTP 메시지를 포함하는 브라우저를 실행하는 단계;
로서 상기 확인프로그램이 자동으로 실행한다.
그러면 상기 URL 또는 HTTP 메시지는 네트워크를 통해 관리서버(30)에 요청정보가 전달되고, 요청정보를 받은 관리서버(30)는 URL 또는 HTTP 메시지에서 맥주소를 추출하는 단계;
맥주소와 관련된 정보를 DB(40)에서 읽어와 웹페이지를 생성하는 단계;
그리고 해당정보를 단말기(20)에 회신하는 단계;
상기 단말기(20)의 브라우저에서는 관리서버(30)로 부터 수신되는 웹페이지를 디스플레이에 보여주는 단계;
로 이루어진다. 이때 브라우저에서 보여지는 UI화면은 도 5와 같은 예가 가능하며 상태정보에는 정상/매매중/미등록 등을 보여줄 수 있다. 그리고 제품/물품명을 보여줄 수도 있는데, 사용자의 선택에 따라 e-mail 이나 연락처가 추가로 공개될 수도 있다.
이로써 단말기(20)의 소유자를 바로 확인할 수 있게 되어 사용자의 편리성이 크게 개선될 수 있다. 그리고 상기 확인프로그램은 용량이 매우 작은 프로그램으로서 서비스를 제공하는 자가 제작하여 배포할 수 있다.
도 3은 본 발명의 실시 예에 따른 단말기에서의 맥주소를 이용한 소유자등록 방법의 실시 예를 나타낸 흐름도이다. 도면을 참조하여 본 발명에 따른 단말기에서의 맥주소를 이용한 소유자등록 방법의 기능 및 동작을 도 6과 같이 상세하게 설명한다.
단말기(20)는 확인프로그램을 실행하고 관리서버(30)로 부터 정보를 수신한 후, 소유자등록이 되어있지 않은 경우에,
상기 단말기(20)의 브라우저에 보이는 웹페이지에서 로그인을 요청하는 단계;
관리서버(30)는 단말기(20)로 부터의 로그인 요청에 따라 로그인 또는 소유자등록 페이지를 전송하는 단계;
이 단계에서 보여지는 UI화면은 도 6과 같은 예가 가능하며 각 정보 중 맥주소와 랜모듈명은 확인프로그램에 의해 자동으로 입력이 가능하며 나머지 항목은 사용자가 입력하게 된다. 제품S/N 항목은 분실시 회수할 때 필요한 것으로 입력해 놓으면 따로 메모할 필요가 없어진다.
그리고 사용자가 단말기(20)에서 소유자 정보를 입력하고 관리서버(30)로 전송하는 단계;
관리서버(30)에서 수신된 소유자정보를 입력처리하고 확인 페이지를 단말기(20)로 전송하는 단계;
단말기(20)의 브라우저에서 확인 정보를 표시하는 단계로 이루어진다.
도 4는 본 발명의 다른 실시 예에 따른 단말기에서의 맥주소를 이용한 소유자확인 방법의 실시 예를 나타낸 흐름도이다. 도면을 참조하여 본 발명에 따른 단말기에서의 맥주소를 이용한 소유자확인 방법의 기능 및 동작을 상세하게 설명한다.
단말기(20)에서 브라우저를 실행하여 서비스를 제공하는 사이트에 접속한 후, 사이트에서 제공하는 브라우저의 툴바 등에서 소유자확인을 클릭할 경우,
브라우저에서 랜모듈의 맥주소를 읽고 관리서버(30)로 전송하는 단계;
관리서버(30)가 맥주소와 관련된 정보를 DB(40)에서 정보를 받아와서 웹페이지를 생성하고 단말기(20)로 전송하는 단계;
단말기(20)에서 상기 생성한 웹페이지를 수신하여 브라우저에 표시하는 단계;
로 이루어진다.
도 7은 본 발명의 실시 예에 따른 소유자 이전시의 UI화면을 나타낸 것이다. 제품/물품의 매매에 따라 소유자의 변동 발생시 웹사이트에 접속하여 해당 맥주소에 대해 이전할 ID를 입력하고 자신의 ID와 패스워드를 입력하면 해당 맥주소의 소유자를 변경할 수 있는 것이다.
그리고 상술한 단말기는 사용자가 사용하는 모바일기기 등일 수도 있을 뿐만아니라 다른 쇼핑몰서버 같은 서버가 소유자확인 요청을 할 수도 있는 것으로서, 편의상 단말기로 설명하였다.
이상에서는 본 발명의 바람직한 실시 예에 대해서 도시하고 설명하였으나, 본 발명은 상술한 특정의 실시 예에 한정되지 아니하며, 청구범위에서 청구하는 본 발명의 요지를 벗어남이 없이 당해 발명이 속하는 기술 분야에서 통상의 지식을 가진자라면 누구든지 다양한 변형 실시가 가능한 것은 물론이고, 그와 같은 변경은 청구범위 기재의 범위 내에 있게 된다.

Claims (7)

  1. 단말기의 소유자정보를 조회하는 장치에 있어서,
    유선 또는 무선의 랜모듈을 내장하며, 맥주소를 읽고 URL 또는 HTTP 메시지를 생성하여 관리서버에 전송하고 관련정보를 수신하는 단말기;
    상기 단말기로부터 상기 URL 또는 HTTP 메시지를 수신하고 맥주소를 추출하여 DB에서 관련정보를 읽고, 그 정보를 상기 단말기로 회신하는 관리서버;
    상기 단말기의 맥주소 등을 저장하는 DB;
    로 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 맥주소를 이용한 소유자확인 장치.
  2. 단말기의 소유자정보를 조회하는 방법에 있어서,
    단말기에서 소유자 확인프로그램을 실행하는 경우,
    상기 프로그램이 유선 또는 무선의 랜모듈의 맥주소를 읽어 오는 단계;
    상기 프로그램이 상기 맥주소를 포함하는 URL 또는 HTTP 메시지를 생성하여 관리서버에 전송하는 단계;
    상기 프로그램이 상기 관리서버로 부터 소유자정보를 수신하는 단계;
    를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 맥주소를 이용한 소유자확인 방법.
  3. 단말기의 소유자정보를 조회하는 방법에 있어서,
    사용자가 단말기에서 브라우저를 실행하여 관리서버에 접속하는 단계;
    사용자가 맥주소를 입력하는 단계;
    상기 맥주소를 관리서버에 전송하여 소유자정보를 요청하는 단계;
    관리서버로부터 수신되는 소유자정보를 상기 브라우저에 표시하는 단계;
    를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 맥주소를 이용한 소유자확인 방법.
  4. 단말기의 소유자정보를 조회하는 방법에 있어서,
    단말기에서 브라우저를 실행하여 소유자확인 사이트에 접속하는 단계;
    상기 접속한 사이트에서 소유자확인을 실행하는 단계;
    상기 단말기의 맥주소를 포함하는 URL 또는 HTTP 메시지를 관리서버에 전송하는 단계;
    관리서버로 부터 수신되는 소유자정보를 상기 브라우저에 표시하는 단계;
    를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 맥주소를 이용한 소유자확인 방법.
  5. 단말기의 소유자정보를 제공하는 방법에 있어서,
    관리서버가 맥주소를 포함하는 URL 또는 HTTP 메시지를 단말기로 부터 수신하는 단계;
    상기 URL 또는 HTTP 메시지에서 맥주소를 추출하는 단계;
    상기 관리서버는 DB에서 읽고 정보를 상기 단말기로 회신하는 단계;
    를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 맥주소를 이용한 소유자확인 방법.
  6. 단말기의 소유자정보를 제공하는 방법에 있어서,
    관리서버가 맥주소를 포함하는 정보를 단말기로 부터 수신하는 단계;
    상기 맥주소를 DB에서 읽고 소유자정보를 상기 단말기로 회신하는 단계;
    를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 맥주소를 이용한 소유자확인 방법.
  7. 제2항 내지 제6항의 방법 중 어느 한 항의 방법을 실행시키기 위한 프로그램을 기록한 컴퓨터 판독 가능한 기록매체.
